“This has quickly become on our favorite places in the city and we are here about once a week. We love the ambiance, the food, beverages, and service. It is such a vibe. Our favorite pizza is the classic pizza with pepperoni & mushroom and a Caesar salad. Alan and the rest of the team are so friendly!“
“Our experience at Sapori was really good. Our waiter, Birch, was attentive and knew the menu exceptionally well despite working there only two weeks. The food was incredible, especially the pasta and sauce, which is made in house every day. Sapori’s is located doentown and is a short walk from the state capital. Finding reasonably priced, FRESH authentic Italian food in Austin is challenging. I highly recommend“
“Every dish we ordered (foccacia, beets, duck risotto, redfish agnolotti, brown butter cake, and espresso gelato) was delightful - clearly fresh, thoughtfully paired to be complimentary, and so well balanced. The service was knowledge & attentive without being intrusive on our date night. So good that if we were local, this would become a regular semi-special occasion stop for us.Dietary restrictions: Very considerate of allergies & restrictions - the waiter politely inquired and double-checked with the kitchen before taking our order in a practiced manner that made it clear they must do that regularly and take your responses seriously.“
“A favorite for Neapolitan pizza in Austin. Get the Capricciosa or the Classic Margherita. Great ingredients and crust. Cooks super fast. Try birra Peroni or an Italian wine. The lunch size pizza is perfect for one person. For a change of pace try the excellent spinach salad or the meatballs with the focaccia bread. Also, they have delicious classic cannoli. Good staff working here.“
“It's a little loud inside, outside was nice but the live band was also a little too loud.I mean if you want to go chat it's hard, but it's a nice place to hang out . My husband is gluten free, and not many gluten free optionsDietary restrictions: They run out of the rissoto which was the one entree gluten free they had. They have some salads too for gluten free people“
“This pie was truly sensational! Extremely flavorful and tasty! The pepperoni is to die for and the sauce is out of this world! This is a rustic (sausage, green pepers, freah mozzarella) with pepperoni added! Don't skip by this slice of heaven. If you're in Austin, make sure you check them out!“
“"5 stars! MIA Italian restaurant offers the perfect Happy Hour experience with an array of delicious options. Their pizzas are scrumptious, wings are crispy, fries are perfectly seasoned, and salads are fresh and flavorful. The Happy Hour deals make it even better, providing great value for top-notch food. Definitely a must-visit for those craving a satisfying and wallet-friendly meal!"“
“Went to Sammie’s for my birthday and went during the Friday lunch. The vibe were immaculate and the rigatoni bolognese was delicious. They also had NA drinks!! The Venetian spritz was yummy. But honestly? Every day I wake up and think about their Caesar salad. Every. Day.Pictured: the Caesar salad of my dreams“
“THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED TO READ!I lived in NY for literally 11 years. You can imagine the amount of pizza I’ve eaten in that time. I recently moved LA and have been here for 3 years. This place… I can honestly say is the closest I’ve been to a quick NY slice of pizza I’ve been in that time. Stay is friendly. GREAT PIZZA. Quick and efficient and also LOCAL BEERS on the ready for purchase. Can’t say enough good things about this place. 5 stars alll the way.“
“Wonderful service. The limoncello spritz was refreshing and the wines are devine. Enjoyed the special of the day “ravioli porcini” which featured a rich cream sauce and delicious mushrooms with ricotta stuffed ravioli - cooked perfectly al dente. Espresso martinis to end cap our meal. Will definitely be back again.“
“Went for happy hour and couldn't be more pleased. Seated at the counterr/bar, we had a ring side seat to watch the staff in action and what a delightful experience. Attentive and pleasant and never overbearing or pushy. And great pasta at happy hour prices. What's more to ask for?“
“We work in a lot of kitchens, and often will see things that make us want to NEVER eat there. We were shocked at how clean things were here at Cipollina to the point where we had to have dinner the next day. Some of the best Italian food in the country, and this is coming from someone who regularly travels to Chicago and New York to visit family. 12/10, pasta is superb and the pizza is phenomenal, plus the staff are friendly, attentive and most importantly, quick to refill your drink!“
“Wanted pizza for a late lunch and this place popped up. As we were looking at menu, owner came over and gave us the run down. Kids ordered lunch sized pepperoni pizzas, wife customized hers and got a salad and I got the garlic and sausage pizza. Everything was delicious. Crust is definitely in my top 3 or 4 I have had. Wife raved about the balsamic and cheese in her salad. She end up getting a cannot and dessert pizza for the kids. Awesome spot for good pizza!“
“the hostess was super sweet, the water person never let our glasses get empty, and the waiter was amazing! super quick and attentive. the food came out fast and omg was soooooo good. we did the prix fixe menu and every course was amazing. they also gave us a free champagne toast for our anniversary.“
“This is the place to have a nice Italian meal. New staff, the last time I went, but the food was still amazing! Service was also on point. James, the owner, is always helping his staff when he is here. The atmosphere is very chill, and the vibes are ?. Try everything! Today Panos (aka aqua man) killed it, he was a one team wonder! Thank you Panos see yall soon!“
“Great food, service, and atmosphere. We have been 4-5 times (live in the neighborhood) in the past 3 years and always leave going “dang, we should go there more.” Also, prices are very fair and they didn’t go crazy with increases during or after the pandemic. Good date spot or dinner with friends.“
“Reem was an amazing server she was attentive and kind told her about are trip to the mountains and Katlyn helped me on the phone with the reservation seating she was super helpful the food was so good but the fettuccine was ok and the pork chop was perfect I had a black berry sangria it was the best thing ever over all the service was top tier and the food was great thanks reem for the amazing service“
“The good is delicious and they were very willing to make modifications to meet my nutrition goals without sacrificing flavor! Super attentive and thoughtful. Outdoor venue is superb! (Pending Texas weather...)Vegetarian options: Very willing to make accommodations as requested“
“I was not a fan of the gnocchi but it could be personal preference. The tomato sauce was good though! My favorite was the maccheroni with creamy sausage and mushroom! The spaghetti with clams was good but probably will not order again, overall you can taste the handmade pasta and quality of the ingredients and the food was made with care. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for some pasta.“
“We absolutely love this restaurant, have been coming here for years. The food is always phenomenal (my usual is the wild boar pappardelle with any appetizer or side), and our waitress was very sweet and accommodating. We recommend Siena to everyone we know because it is so underrated but so incredible.“
“Full time traveler here (@whatrvdoing). We were in Austin for a few weeks and I was craving good Italian food. I was looking places up and Artipasta came up repeatedly! We went to Thicket Food Truck Park and I got two pastas. They were both incredible. We actually went back the next day! It tasted so fresh and authentic. The staff was really friendly as well and we enjoyed the food truck park for eating! I would highly recommend this place if you want yummy Italian food!“
“One of the best, if not the best, pizza slices in Austin. The perfect crunch and thickness of underlying thin crust with an optimal cheese and topping ratio. The end of the crust was just meh, and kind of dry, it could use a coat of garlic butter or olive oil. Then again I'm not big crust person to begin with...Typically university adjacent pizza is horrible. Yeah, they rate high, but you can't trust the taste level of starving college students. Fellini's in Atlanta comes to mind... Imagine my surprise when I tasted this pizza. Wow.The garlic knots were okay to meh.The 'club' part is real. You can pay $5 a month (i think) to get a discounted pizza rate.“
“Another one of our all time favorite restaurants from these killer restaurateurs! High Italian cuisine at the highest quality all the way around in food, service and experience! Love love love everything they do! We’ve enjoyed their effort for over 25 years and can’t say enough good things about their product and experience! A must when in downtown Austin!“
“Asti Trattoria always provides a wonderful dining experience! The food is phenomenal and the staff - and owner, who personally greats customers and brings food to tables - are personable, attentive and skilled. It is our favorite restaurant in Austin!“
“Great casual and comforting Italian place with fresh pasta. Adding chicken to your pasta can be a hit or miss in terms of dryness, but the pasta makes up for it. The focaccia is great as well. Everyone should try Mandola’s at least once in Austin!“
“Tony C's is one of the few Italians restaurants in the area with a real coal fire pizza oven and as a result (combined with quality ingredients and recipes) has some of the best pizza in the Austin area. The staff is always friendly, the entire menu itself is very high quality, and the atmosphere is great old school Italian restaurant style. I recommend Tony C's to anyone looking for good Italian food and amazing pizza.“
“Our waiter, Jordan, was as incredible as the carbonara. His passion for food and wine poured over, creating an atmosphere of excitement for every dish and drink we ordered. Vespaio was a wonderful experience. Do not pass up this restaurant.“
“First time trying this place. We ordered salad and 2 pizzas to eat there for lunch. Really enjoyed our pizzas and the salad was very fresh and flavorful! We took home lasagne, meatball sandwich, a calzone and spaghetti for later to eat with others. All were very tasty, everyone liked what they had and the meat lasagne was some of the best we've ever eaten! The employees were friendly and helpful. We will go back.“
“I get so excited when my friends suggest coming here because every time it’s just so delicious!! We had a party of 11 with two birthdays so we went a little early and they accommodated our entire group together even without a reservation — it was amazing. The happy hour half off everything is such a good deal and the drinks and wine were all fantastic. The staff was so nice and fun and the food of course was delicious! “
“One of the best restaurants in Austin, hands down. Unusual dining experience since you have to order in the front as opposed to be seated then have your order taken, but it seems like it frees up time for the servers, who are very attentive throughout your time there. Looking forward to returning.“
“We were at a red light, hungry, and just decided we wanted an early dinner. I had the mussels frites and wish they’d given me a spoon because the sauce was outstanding. My partner had the chicken parm, his go-to. He said the chicken was nice and crispy. I tried his pasta and the sauce was tangy and delicious. Damage was about $70 as we had an appetizer too. I forget what they were called but they were little breads with brie, bacon, and a pickled fruit with basalmic vinegar. Also very good.“
“We absolutely adore this place as a date night spot or for early family dinner during the amazing happy hour specials. The food is fresh and creative while also having the staples. All of it is absolutely delicious. We always get the meatballs and burrata. The farro salad is heavenly. Pasta is cooked to perfection. Cocktails are delish and great wine selection. Ive never had a dish here I didn’t love! We’ve always had amazing service and joyful staff. The vibe is moody in the front by the bar (aka the date spot) and a bit more playful in the back (aka the family party spot!). So glad to have this in the neighborhood.“
“The first week I was introduced to this place... I ended up going 3 times. I don't like an overwhelming amount of meat but I love a good Italian sub. A super helpful employee, sorry didnt get the name, Suggested I do a value sub with capicollo, made the tuccis way, and now I get that almost every time. Thanks!!Wheelchair accessibility: there is a ramp up to the door and handicap parking out front. Tables have enough space between them to accommodate a wheelchair.“
“Came here after work and even in the rain, late at night, they were still out there working hard and served me one of the best pies I've ever had. The people working here are also very nice and I'll definitely be coming back for more .“
“It's a cute little spot that gets a little crowded when full. Makes for a tight fit but the pizza here doesn't disappoint. The wine is a little high price at $15 a glass, but they do have a beer option that came out 2/$12 so we opted for that while we waited on our pepperoni pizza option. When I tell you this is a gourmet pizza, I'm 100% serious. The smoky crust from the pizza oven is amazing, the housemade sauce is delicious, the pepperoni isn't that processed meat in a bag, the cheese is real. Every bit of this experience was delicious!“
“Extremely good and high quality subs.Bread isn’t always the softest but it’s good quality and tastyStaff are competent and not what I’d call UNfriendly, but certainly no one would call them friendly.Atmosphere is just your typical tables in a lobby, just a place you eat if you’re hungry and cant eat at home or don’t want to eat in your car.Cleanliness inspires confidence. Not cheap. And a drink and chips are like 5 MORE bucks. But hey it’s good food.I will definitely come back, but probably just to pick up my hopefully pre ordered food as I do not like feeling like I’m bothering someone when their entire job is to service the customer.Support local by eating here.Parking: Plenty of free parking spots are narrow but there are about2 football fields worth of parking.“
“NJ Native here ? This is among the best pizza I’ve had anywhere, including the tri-state area. Crust is good, so is the sauce. All their ingredients are fresh and tasty. The staff at the window are always friendly and their delivery service is great too. Hoboken Pie is my go-to for pizza. Download their app—I think it helps them avoid paying a cut to giants like door dash + you’ll get access to coupons and specials.“
“This is my favorite place to go out when down at office. Salads, sandwiches, calzones, and pizzas are all delicious. Service is excellent, and the staff is consistent enough that they know me and know my order even though I am work from home now so only in occasionally.“

“I really like it, because of the well-served food, the attention of the staff and they always have the detail of celebrating the birthday or wedding anniversary and that seems very pleasant to me to promote love and respect between you and us.“
“Nice to see that consistency reigns at Vespaio. Superior cuisine, ambience, and service. I didn't make it the first year but got there as soon as I could (1999)! Moved away in 2012 and now back in town for a UT student daughter's sorority dad's weekend and was so very pleased to introduce her to the restaurant. Thanks mightily for a wonderful evening.“
“Being from New Jerzy usually means trying a new place and being disappointed but when I tried CraigO's Pizza it was like being back home. Pizza and calzones are made to order and fantastic. I recommend this place to anyone looking for an east coast style pie.“
“This place. I would give them 10 out of 10 stars if it were possible. Ambiance- such a fun place with so much to look around and see. Great people watching here, and the restaurant itself is inviting. I personally love the communal long tables. Kid friendly, too! Service- fantastic! Our server was so helpful and had the best recommendations. Very attentive and so friendly. Food- the salad was much bigger than I thought it would be and I felt everything was reasonably priced. Happy hour is an awesome deal. Love this place so much and I will be back!“
“The Grove is consistent and always good. I am a creature of habit so I almost always get the same things. The Asian Crisp salad + Salmon or the Sesame Tuna Salad. They are both delicious. It's a great place to meet friends or date night or take the family.“
“Five star just for how filling and huge and value-for-money this pizza place is. I think the quality of the pizza itself might be more like a 4/5 but when you add in the fact that the pizza is so worth the price, has their own delivery service, and 1.5 slices can fill you up, it's definitely a 5/5 at that point. This place says it's Jersey style pizza but my friend from NJ says it's closer to NYC. I don't know if it really matters though because we're in TX and everything is bigger here, including the pizzas apparently. This photo can't properly demonstrate how large this pizza is but the pizza box is completely covering me! They also let you split the pizza half and half for combos, which is definitely needed for how big the pizzas are. Great pizza to get for a party, that's for sure!“
“A fancy place for gatherings and dates. The tomato bruschetta was delicious. I loved the mushroom ravioli, the filling is exquisite. I will definitely go back for more. Stuffed mushrooms have a very strong flavour, wouldn’t recommend if you’re not a fan. The chocolate cake was rich and decadent, the ice wasn’t great though. They have wide ray of vegetarian options. It is kids friendly. They gave crayon to keep our little companion busy. Kid loved the kids pizza.“
“The mozzarella sticks were outstanding. The flavor the of the cheese paired with the marinara sauce is GREAT! My and my family love this place. The pizzas are OUTSTANDING! When we first came here, I ordered the Carnivore and been my FAVORITE ever since. We have also ordered the plain Pepperoni, the Margherita, & the Primo. ALL VERY DELICIOUS! We love the garlic knots and they have Big Red on tap. Nice touch! We've been to the one in Round Rock off 79; also, just as good. We went to go see Janet Jackson at the Moody and I ate Tony C's there, but I was SEVERELY DISSAPPOINTED. I'll stick to the brick and mortar restaurants. The wait staff is always nice and attentive.“
“My family love coming to Mandola's their prices are reasonable for the portions you get, the bread and olive oil that is provided before your meal is so good you have to be careful you don't fill up on it. Everything we have had here has always been delicious and the service is top notch, My son also always wants to go because they have a playground behind the building. Perfect place to grab some delicious Italian food in a family friendly environment.FYI, a little secret (told to me by the cashier) get the Chicken Parmesan with the "Rosa" sauce. You can thank me later!“
“I had the ravioli special and my husband had chicken parmesan. We had profiteroles and tiramisu for desert before heading to the Paramount for the Croce Plays Croce show. So so good. We had the nicest server, and I'm sorry I can't remember her name. We really really enjoyed our dinner.“
“I cannot say enough about how impressed I was with my experience here! Such a wonderful server and the food was absolute delicious the crab cake, oysters, mushrooms, creamed spinach, filet, and billionaire potato were top tier. I’ll be back in Austin next month and absolutely will be dining again!“
