This place never appeared to be something I would try because of the cosmetics, but today I told myself I’m hungry and I’ll try them out, please note they are a Neighborhood restaurant so supporting them is also meaningful to me as well.
This restaurant is becoming a hidden gem. The service is excellent and so is the food. I took away 1 start purely because their hours are reduced to only 4-8pm. That means the only day I can ever eat there is Saturday. (They are closed Sundays)
I have eaten at Casa Ole since I was a kid, and we keep going back almost 40 years later. My wife (then girl friend) used to go at least every other weekend, if not every weekend back in the 80s. The menu has changed very little and the food is excellent Tex-Mex. It is also very inexpensive. The building is older, and could stand a little updating perhaps -- but it doesn't bother me at all and I kind of hope they leave the layout and esthetics as is.
