“Don’t expect anything fancy here, this is basically a takeout place for some great fried catfish, fried shrimp, or fried oysters. They have other things on the menu, including non-fried seafood choices, but I opted for the fried stuff. It was terrific. Skip the fries and go for rice unless you’re eating-in or plan to reheat the fries in an air fryer at home. The fries are tasty, but they get weak fast.“
“I ordered the chicken wings with dirty rice and fries. Everything was delicious. Chicken wings were moist and well seasoned, and they definitely have some of the best dirty rice in town. This is also the only place I know of where you can buy a fried Cornish hen. They also have fried turkey legs. Will definitely be back to try to fried porkchop dinner and the fish dinner.“

“I ordered my meal online using doordash. My food was excellent and the portion size was larger than I expected. I ordered the 2pc fish with 9 shrimps and fried rice as the side. The shrimp were jumbo and the rice was a larger portion. I ordered from the location based on the reviews since I am not local to the area. Very pleased!! I will certainly order again the next time I am in the area.“
“Great place for the kids to run around and eat all the pizza they want. The table stay clean and wiped down. Now the bathrooms always seems to need some major attention. Food is great but the bathrooms needs to be better kept.Dietary restrictions: I can not eat carbs because I'm a diabetic but they make a crustless pizza which is topping and sauce and it's delicious.“

“This is a beautiful restaurant with a very friendly staff. I stopped in and looked at the menu and determined 50 to 75 bucks a plate was more than I wanted to spend that day. The menu was a little complex to understand, even after the waiter explained it. They become MORE tender overnight in the fridge.Let’s get into the real review.Chicken wings: super moist, tender, and the breading is a cross between southern style and Korean style. Superbly done as well. Flakey, crispy, crunchy, and seasoned well.Fried rice: well seasoned, fluffy, and soft. If you are a fan of fried rice I would come here just for it.Gizzards: I am a traveler that seeks out gizzards. Fresh they were a bit hard with the connective tissue, they were juicy and tender in the meaty parts. Breading was A+++.I am a fan of morning cold right of of the fridge gizzards. They excelled in that category. I had them 2 days after and warmed them up just a bit, and even though they lost the crisp they became even more tender. I would eat them like this all day every day.This is fried chicken with an Asian flair and I love it!Will be back the next time I am in the area for sure!Thank you for such a wonderful experience!!!I forgot about the fries. It is such a joy to order food and order is right the first time around. The food is always hot and tasty. Even the bathrooms are clean. “I've been going to Coastal Seafood, more since the late '90s when I returned from Illinois. The thing is, I grew up in Beaumont, and Coastal Seafood was there when I was a kid. I would go there with my grandparents and my parents. The food has always been good, and the counter service also. The menu is fairly large, so it may take you a bit to figure out exactly what you want. The Cajun and Seafood dishes are really good, the portions are large, so despite the pricing, you'll probably get two or three servings out of an order. I recommend Coastal Seafood!“
