Richard's is the best soul food in the whole SETX area. Multiple generations working together making the world a little bit better place. 10/10 will always recommend this place. Plates full of food, the tea is always amazing and the food seasoned beautifully every time.
Great bunch of Ladies , that can throw down a Hella meal. They saw I had a cane so with not a word said I was seated and comfortable. Food is great and the portions are healthy . My friend really enjoyed his first trip there.

Yes. The gravy is dark. And soooo good! Glad I gave this place a try. Will definitely return. We pulled up right at opening and there were already several people ahead of us. Obviously has a strong local following. We tried smothered chops, hamburger steak, and beef tips. The kids immediately liked it. Parking was easy, staff was friendly and fast.
