“my beautiful wife and I had a blast..The people and establishment are great...It's a hometown owned tavern.I have known Robert and Vincent G,for decades, they are my family. I recommend visiting for a great time of dancing a few adult beverages and fun..Very laid back establishment (friendly)... You won't be disappointed....much love to my Guerrero brothers..blessings upon you all....(GO NINERS)..”
“Very tasty. Much better than you would expect from a gas station taco joint. Could use a better explanation of what was spicy and what wasn't for the uninitiated.”
“New to Waco and came across this incredible coffee shop. The workers are absolutely amazing and hard workers. They make you feel so happy and relaxed. I intend on coming here on a regular basis. What a great place to just be.”
“Everything we ordered was delicious! Brisket was tender, Mac n cheese was other worldly, cabbage was amazing. Got dessert to go. Small place, but super friendly and inviting family service.”
“Had a lovely dinner experience! Our waitress, Haley, was so AMAZING. Made sure we were okay, had our drinks filled, and made sure we were enjoying our meal. Definitely will be back!”
“Hawaiian Brothers is a great stop right off the freeway! We were traveling from Dallas to Austin, and it was perfect! The food is delicious, and even better is Julie’s service! We give it a five star rating, and would definitely come back. Enjoy!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options, including rice and vegetables, are delicious!Parking: The parking lot is big and free.”
“My friend and I were visiting from out of town and had such a great time at Segovia - it was the perfect atmosphere to relax, hang out and have a couple of excellent glasses of wine. We felt very well taken care of by the owner. I can’t wait to go back!”
“The servers were so friendly and polite and the food was great! My friends and I enjoyed our time here and would eagerly come back.Definitely order the chips w/salsa, guacamole, and queso! My favorite was the salsa which came out warm and had a kick to the spice, but not overwhelmingly.”
“Think there should be more information about Sunday menu online. They have a special limited menu Sundays so no fried okra or green beans :( Food was yummy and service was great! Big portions. Still full from my loon lunch and it’s 4pm!”
“I love the rotating menu they have every week while also keeping some of our faves such as chocolate chip. I’m a frequent customer and I’m never disappointed in the weekly choices.”
“There was a slight issue with the food and they remediated it quickly, and provided us with a free desert. The service was great, the food was incredible, and the owner even came by to check on us and make sure everything was okay followed by a personal apology. The servers were also very polite and very kind.Thank you.”
“I ordered the milk tea boba with 50% sugar it tasted like it didn’t have any sugar ??♀️ the kitchen was closed so I couldn’t try to pho. It’s a new business.”
“Fantastic Meal! We had the "splurge meal" of our trip here and it was divine. The Rosemary Cheddar Popovers were still hot and so delicious, my fiancé had the lobster bisque and really enjoyed it. I had the Lobster Escargot and haven't stopped thinking it since. I went online at the table and ordered an escargot pan on Amazon to make this at home. HIGHLY suggest this appetizer. I opted for the wedge salad with my steak (odd to me that they upcharge for bacon on a a wedge) and it was fine, my fiancé really enjoyed his house salad and said it was crisp and refreshing and the dressing was perfect. He opted for the 10pz filet, it was soft and flavorful, I had the Ribeye and the char was perfection. I wish we weren't traveling and I could have brought the rest with me. We split the mashed potato's and they were perfect. Our server, Chastity, was awesome. Very nice, knowledgeable and attentive. 5/5 all around.”
“Everything was on point !! The music , the service, and especially the food . The spaghetti squash was really good! The extra side of asparagus i ordered was amazing!!! And my husband's pork chop was amazing as well .. huge portions! For the appetizer we had the small charcuterie board the presentation of it was beautiful. It was so good.”
“If you're looking for good Mexican food in TX, this is definitely a good spot to check out. It's small but has a lot to offer. Their spicy beans are so good! The service is great too, they will take care of you there.”
“This BBQ tasted awesome! We had ribs and brisket- it was soo good! The people were very nice. We enjoyed the atmosphere- it wasn't fancy but it was good. We highly recommend eating here.”
“This delightful little restaurant lived up to our expectations! The delicious gyro plate had a generous amount of meat, and the Lebanese salad was a wonderful accompaniment. The baba gahnouj was good, but I think I like the yogurt and cucumber salad even more. And my spouse's fried okra was fresh and done just right. And the gentleman who took our order (pretty sure he is the owner or co-owner) was very charming to chat with. As noted in other reviews, it is a very small restaurant so get there early. We showed up just after 11 a.m. and got our orders in about 10 minutes before the place started filling up. Even if it's crowded when you get there, it's worth the wait. Don't forget to save room for a piece of baklava for dessert!”
“First time to have fresh noodles with Spam, but we were pleasantly surprised! Start-up location has some fun, quirky decorations, but really forgot everything else once we tasted the food!”
“Rachel was our server. She made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious. And just the area in general was beautiful with the pond right outside the windows. It made it an awesome experience for my first time being there.”
“Quick Version: Come try it. It’s delicious.Long version: I walked in first time and right away was like, “This place going to be good because they have aunties and grannies working in the kitchen.” I was right. The torta cubana is good and they don’t cheap out on the ingredients. It had that thick ham not that deli sliced ham. They put either mayonnaise or butter when they toast the bread and cheese. The little things that elevate the taste, you know? When I try out a new taqueria, I like to order 1 taco of lengua and 1 of tripas. If they cook those two meats good, the rest is going to be good. Let me tell you their lengua is good. It’s soft without being mushy or blocky. AND, on a homemade tortilla boooooy! I didn’t expect that. It was delicious. The aunties treated us really well and made my coworker and I feel at home. They were very nice and friendly and even gave that regaño de abuelita because my coworker didn’t finish his torta LOL! It was really heartwarming. The horchata was good too.I would only recommend two things. A little more taste and spiciness on the salsas. Quiero moquear de lo picoso ?. And some love to the walls or decorations would really brighten up the place.Try the place. You won’t regret it.”
“Super fun place. I live in blue political territory so I had to visit the Waco store after visiting the Waco Zoo. I love supporting Veteran owned businesses.I wanted to support the company so I bought a cap and sweatshirt with my coffee and coffee cake. It came to just under $100.They are avid gun lovers here so if that bothers you, perhaps think twice about going. However, I'm a liberal from CA who opposed automated weapons but loves the hunting culture. I was welcomed like family. Good people and great coffee!I'll be back!”
“The food was great! The young man who helped us was very nice & we talked about Laos and where his family was from. Food was fresh and we literally gobbled it up it was so good ? I will definitely be going again.”
“Hunter was amazing! It was our first visit and he shared his knowledge of the entrees with us and we chose the Pecan Crusted Trout and the Lobster & Shrimp Grilled Cheese. Both were fantastically delicious!”
“The best Cajun/New Orleans food in Waco…not even close. Actually as good or better than many places we’ve eaten at in New Orleans. This is a tiny restaurant with minimal atmosphere but don’t let that distract you from the great food. We will definitely be back.”
“Food is good but service is very slow. There are a lot of servers working there, so I'm not sure if the kitchen was slow that day or if it was something else. We would go back for the food quality but only of we have unlimited time to spend.”
“My family has been eating burgers here since the 1980’s if you are anywhere around Bellmead right outside Waco take the time to stop by this local hamburger joint!”
“I’m craving the yucca fries already. Smaller place but that just makes for a more intimate experience. Worth any wait if you get there and there is one; we went a little later in the evening and there was an open table for us upon arrival. We all got something different and shared bites of each other’s meal and everything just was so good. I remember when they opened in Union Hall a while back and we tried it and probably went back 4 or 5 times that week and it was our go to place to bring friends from out of town….that being said this location was even better I think. Definitely will go back and hopefully soon. The salsa was delicious and even though it had a little kick, I couldn’t stop eating it or get enough!”
“This is a great local place which is right in the middle of the community as well as our hearts. Consistency in the service and the coffee is superb. Remember to mind your ABC's and Always Be ”
“Just went here for cinnamon rolls. They were AMAZING! The guy who checked us out was very nice. If you are looking for some bomb cinnamon rolls, you know where to go :)Vegetarian options: It said that the cinnamon rolls are vegetarian”
“Great little hole in the wall with REAL authentic Mexican food! Waitress was bilingual and service was fast. Everything tasted amazing, will definitely come back again to try new dishes!”
