“Met a girlfriend here for her belated birthday brunch. Highly recommend. From the moment we walked in till we left everything was perfect. My friend got the seasonal French toast and it looked more like dessert... She loved it. I got the Country breakfast with sausage and it hit the spot. Had the Peach Shiner and she got a mimosa. The atmosphere is very welcoming and our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely a gem in downtown Buda.”

“I arrived for my very first Uncle Buda experience as they were opening up for the day. After a warm welcome I ordered their Thursday special, Yakisoba. I'm from the Pacific Northwest and up there Yakisoba is everywhere and it's one of my all time favorite noodle dishes. Uncle Buda nailed it! The sauce is sweet and savory, with bursts of fresh ginger. The noodles were perfect. My only complaint? I ate the whole thing in one sitting ? if you haven't tried this spot yet, I highly recommend it.Also of note, there are places to sit and eat outside, which is lovely, but I drove all the way home to Kyle before eating and it was still super hot!!”

“The chipotle turkey sandwich is to die for!!! They have so many selections of things and vegan options for those who are vegan! Everything is so fresh and authentic. They have an awesome bakery with fresh warm and soft cookies, fresh salads and fruit bowls, and cakes ?. The owner and the employees are so kind and they always go out of their way to make sure you’re happy. Every time I order from here it’s always fast and they get my order right every time! The smoothies are also really good too, my personal favorite is the Strawberry Banana!! It’s close range to the buda, Kyle, and Austin folks out there and they’re opening up a new location in San Marcos so it’ll be closer to those in the Kyle San Marcos area. Eating here is definitely a 200/10!! ??”

“My husband and I stopped by for an early dinner and happy hour and it was absolutely delicious! We shared a wedge salas, the meatloaf and the shrimp and grits. Everything was excellent and was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend the peanut butter chocolate cheesecake. Our waitress Kristina was awesome and the outdoor patio is a perfect place to spend a spring afternoon. Very impressed overall!”

“Beef was really well seasoned and very tasty, the chicken was a little less so but still tender along with the veggies on my fajita plate. Nachos were piled high and could feed two people with leftovers!! I loved the taco sauce but all the sauces were tasty.”

“The food and service were excellent. We had the sliced brisket, it was very tender and juicy and the flavor was great. We also had the sausage and a turkey sandwich. The turkey was also moist, and the flavor was great.Nice outside seating area. Pets are also allowed.”

“We've been getting breakfast tacos here for a few months and it's always so fresh and yummy!! Crispy bacon in their bacon egg tacos, delicious pancake plate, and highly recommend the horchata if you like that. So good! Staff are sweet and now they have a cool little house so you can sit inside or outside. Support local!”

“The Buda Soda Fountain is an EXPERIENCE! I took six of my kids there and my nephew. We were in town for a wedding. One of my kids has Celiac’s Disease, and it was so refreshing to be able to relax and know that he’ll be able to enjoy a gluten-free lunch without worrying about cross-contamination! There are lots of GF options for lunch AND dessert! The food was outstanding, and everyone finished off with a root beer float. There is also a great selection of candy. If you visit Buda, you MUST stop in to eat here. Also there’s a great little pharmacy next door that has things that most pharmacies don’t - essential oils, good quality supplements, and natural health type things.”

Not only does the menu offer mouth watering selections, it also offers off-menu specials. The handcrafted cocktails and desserts...simply a must! Whether you are dining for the first time or have previously dined, you will be treated like an old friend.”

“Best birria tacos in Hays County, hands down! I've been to Taco Clem, Tejas Birria and C Spot in Kyle. Tacos La Pachanga is better than all of them, and it's not even close. The flavor is amazing. The service is always fast and friendly. The workers go out of their way to fix any issues if there is a mistake. I can't say enough good things about this little food truck. Great food, great location, and great customer service. I live all the way in Kyle, and I will drive to Buda everytime if I'm craving birria tacos. 100% worth the drive! Absolutely delicious meat, salsa, and consome. Nice and greasy, the way they should be.”

“Food is good and serving size is good. It’s clean and the service is great! Oh it’s also reasonably priced. We live in neighborhood and make it a weekly visit. I have tried several things on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. My usual is the order of mini tacos.”
