“Food was fantastic. I got a spice level 3 and think I could go up to a 5, but I highly recommend the Drunken noodles with tofu. Tofu was cooked perfectly and the flavor was spot on. Got to meet the owners and chef, both were very nice. Highly recommend!!“
“Quiet. Visually pleasant. Attentive owner/ management and wait staff. Presentation of food and dishes show care and thought. I had green curry, wife had Thai fried rice. Both were outstanding. The place was hopping on a Wednesday night, with a steady stream of carry out traffic too, but still was quiet. Great value for the money. What more can you ask for?Be patient with Google maps.“
“Very quick service with amazing food! They close at 9:30 but the place was still packed at 9PM. Once you enter you may have to wait in line but you have to register your name & number on the ipad. The food tastes great (pineapple fried rice, pork skewers, tom yum soup). My favorite was the skewer but my friend preferred tom yum soup. I want to be back to try more.It is very loud inside as the hall is pretty big.I would recommend to try this place if you’re around the area.“
“Stopped in on a Saturday for lunch. First impression - cute interior with lighting that changes colors. We ordered the crispy chicken spring rolls to start. They were so delicious that I didn't even have a chance to take a photo before they were devoured! Next, we ordered the Tom Yum soup. It was spicy, savory and a large enough portion that we both enjoyed a bowl and still was able to take half of it home. For entrees, we ordered the pad thai with beef and the crispy chicken curry. Both dishes were presented beautifully and the flavors were amazing! Again, portions were large enough to take half home for lunch the next day. Impressed with the quality of the delicious food! Will definitely be back to try more dishes.“
“OMG! Can I say this place hit my taste buds on all levels. As the vegan Thai SNOB I will seriously say that have the flavor down and in the most fresh authentic way. I ordered a vegan veggie woosen, vegan pho and fresh spring rolls and I’m literally sitting here licking my fingers trying to figure out how the food disappeared so fast. Not to mention the CUSTOMER SERVICE was excellent. I was met with smiles and a true heart to serve. As a plant based eater I can go over the top on request and they nailed it! Thank you and will be seeing you soon!“
“I used Banana Leaf for catering an event for 100+ people and it was very successful. Everyone raved about the quality and quantity of the food and went back many times for more food. Steve and Kameron are very friendly and professional They and their team delivered and set up everything 15 minutes earlier than the expected time so everything was good to go on time. I highly recommend them to cater your next event! Of course I also recommend going to restaurant for a meal or ordered to go as I've enjoyed their food this way for many years.“
“The chicken coconut soup and Panang curry are delicious. The ahi tuna tartare disappointingly lacked flavor. I was expecting sliced ? not chopped. You need to order delivery as there is More seating than parking and there’s always a wait.“
“Top notch! I came in at 3:30pm during a weekday so if it's that fresh during those dead hours I would think it's just as good during peak hours. This is some really good sushi! Very fresh salmon sashimi, the woman at the counter is very sweet and attentive, and I've felt some real VIP experience eating there. 14 bucks well spent I believe!Vegetarian options: Vegan cream cheese when indicatedParking: Restaurant parking is clearly labeled for the restaurant.“
“This is the best Thai Place & we love it. Our favorite is flat noodles & basil fried rice. Unlike other places that make dry & dull, this place makes all dishes perfectly sauced & if you ask spicy, they will match it for your taste buds.“
“Excellent atmosphere, nice and quiet, warm lighting. I had the citrus beef, which was delicious. My wife really enjoyed the yellow curry w chicken, and my daughter enjoyed the pad Thai. The place wasn't busy at all, which is probably why it was quiet, but that also meant that our service was very prompt. There was a bit of a language barrier, but our waitress was patient and kind as we worked that out.“
“Friday evening date night with the wife. Very clean, the menus are extremely easy to understand and very well crafted. She had the pad Thai, I had the pad Si Ew with beef. Would definitely go back try a few more the appetizers in the future. She really liked the curry puffs. The bang bang shrimp was interesting. Crispy thin noodles fried and wrapped around a shrimp.“
“Food was excellent and service was initially good. Me and another couple were the only ones in the restaurant and after receiving my appetizer and drink my server disappeared and I wasn’t checked on again. I had to go to the bar to just cash out. I left and went somewhere else which makes me sad because the food was amazing.“
“Best Lao and Thai restaurant in the dallas fort worth area. The first time I tried it, the food was so good I had to come back again the next day. Customer service was hands down the best ive received in a while. 100% will a new go to spot in the “
“Food was absolutely amazing. I had the crispy salmon to go and went back the next day and tried the curry salmon. Both delicious and packed with flavor. I have told everyone about this spot and I'm so mad that it's been a hidden gem this entire time I have lived in Addison. Atmosphere was great and they have live music every 3rd Friday I believe. The service was great and it seems to be family ran. I plan on frequenting often and can't wait to go back soon.“
“My friends and I went there on March 18th.We ordered a lot of different food that we shared and we had such a great time together. We first ordered Thai spicy chicken wings, Thai palm family and crab cheese wantons for sporty. They were AMAZING!! You should definitely try them!! You can choose spicy levels and even though I’m Korean, I choose only medium spicy. We also ordered the main dishes each one of them and I ordered drunken noodles which was delicious!! I also tried from my friends dishes, pad Thai, Massaman curry, Panang curry and thai fried rice!! It was a great experience! If you are looking authentic Thai cuisine then this is really the place. I’m from New York/ New Jersey area and when I come back to Dallas, I will definitely go there again!! Thank you!Parking: So easy to park in the parking lot.“
“Hidden amongst all the other shops at the crossing of N. MacArthur blvd and Valley Ranch Pkwy, is this small family run Thai place.Authentic Thai flavours. Fried rice, noodles, pad Thai and curries are all nice.Spice level "mild" would suit most folks :) Beyond that, try it at your own risk!Just a word - portion is ok for 1 person. Will cost aroun 12-15 $ PP.Suitable for vegetarians too. They can customize any dish.“
“One of my favorite restaurants and for sure for thai/lao food! Been going here for years and highly recommend the spicy lao sausage, combo pad see ew, and beef laab :3 my friends that like drunken noods also approve. thai tea is also yummy!“
“The veggies and tofu was very flavorful and yummy! Also, their crab and cream cheese rolls are heavenly. The sauce they serve them with was very good but I like the sweet chili sauce with them a little better. The staff is very sweet and the food came out very quick!“
“Absolutely delicious and fresh. My work team came here and we were pleasantly surprised.Great hospitality too. Felt like you were being treated in someone’s home.Highly recommend the pad Thai chicken medium spicy and the orange chicken.Enjoy!“
“We happened upon the BEST Thai restaurant, Thai Soon, in Richardson! Portion size was great, a tiny but quaint place facing Coit Rd, just south of Beltline. Actual address is 101 S. Coit Rd, Suite 401. We always start off with spring rolls. If you want oil free you need to specify steamed tofu, not fried. I had the Cashew Nut Entree with Brown rice that was heaping with fresh veggies ! I had a spice level of 3 and it was perfect for my spicy palate. Pat chose a Pad Thai with Veggies as well. Both of us agreed that it was the best Thai food we have ever had in Dallas (and we have frequented many)! We followed up with Purple Sticky Rice for dessert, and it was a 10/10! Not the right season for Mango Sticky Rice, so we tried something new, and cannot wait to return! Prices very reasonable as well! You won’t regret a visit to Thai Soon In Richardson.Vegetarian options: You can substitute tofu in most all dishes. Just be sure to tell them that you are Vegan and cannot eat any animal products.“
“I don’t know where to start. The theme of the whole experience was “Addictive”.3 diverse food items, each of them sparked when I took a bite. That tuna tower looks heavenly, tastes even better. After the first bite we devoured it. The Tom Kha was flavorful. The crispy pad Thai was so unique.“
“Such a cute Asian fusion restaurant. Why didn’t I know about it before? It is a must try.I got the fried vegetable egg rolls and red curry. Both dishes were so fresh and delicious. The staff were so nice as well. They have an amazing bar and beautiful Asian portraits.“
“We love coming to this place over and over. The taste is always consistent. During today’s trip our server was Tagi, he recommended a new dish that we have never tried before, Bangkok Delight Fried Chicken, and it was amazing. This place is 10/10 and the service was delightful. Thank you Tagi!“
“Have ordered to-go here twice now and both times the food was fantastic! The most flavorful Thai food we've had in Dallas, and we've tried quite a few places here over the years! Recommend the Pad Thai with chicken, Panang Curry with chicken, Green Curry, and the Thai Chicken Crispy rolls! My wife also really loved the Taro Smoothie! Highly recommend if you like authentic and flavorful Thai food!“
“This is a small but quant corner, you have a variety of stores Tom Thumb being one of them. Then you have numerous eating places like on the border, some kind of Chinese one on the same square as On The Border and many others. Plus you have Chase Bank. You can get in and out from three different sides, coming off of the Dallas Tollway, Parker road or the first street after the Tollway. Makes it convenient and fast to get in and out of there.“
“After trying several dishes and finding some new favorites, I am raising the rating to 5 stars. Food is made to order and served hot and extremely tasty with spice heat level to your style. Plates are served in generous proportions. My favorites are Basil fried rice and Thai Ginger with chicken lvl 5. My son loves the Combo fried rice with shrimp, chicken and pork. Besides the food being great, the owner manager is Excellent. Very friendly and customer focused. Highly recommend Thai E San.“
“Had the chicken and rice soup which was hot and flavorful. Also enjoyed the avocado green curry which had a strong coconut milk flavorful. I am glad they asked me how spicy i wanted the food. Also had a taro boba drink. This place was a nice surprise since from the outside you can't tell that they offer food and not just snacks and drinks. Loved the home cooked flavors.“
“This was my go-to Thai place for almost 5 years, and I never once had a bad meal there. I recently moved out of state, and I have yet to find a replacement that even comes close. I loved their food, especially their Pad Woon Sen noodles (no tomatoes, chicken cooked extra well done). Every dish I ever got there was extremely good, including their curries! They will be a stop I make when I come back to visit.“
“A fine Asian dining experience near I35 and 121 business! I told them medium spicy and they delivered! Delicious! When I eat at Panda I need to eat the black peppers to get a sufficient level of spicy. This place, not so. This place is 1000% better than Panda. A slightly humble atmosphere but quiet and clean. I loved it! My new favorite!“
“This is a gem of a place. There isn’t enough nice things I can say about it. It’s a hole in the wall type of place - not much seating available. The food makes up for it. So even if you can’t have a nice sit down meal when it’s busy, order carry out. You will not be disappointed. I have tried a number of the things on the menu and I am a happy camper. I can’t say there’s anything I don’t like. It’s the first Thai place I found when I moved here from NY. And it remains one of my favorite places. They have quick service now - during COVID, it was rough. I don’t want to say too many nice things because I want to be able to have my mother - son sit down dinner every month just like when I was pregnant with him!“
“Pad thai and mango sticky rice have been good both times my wife and I have eaten here.Dining floor is generally clean, restrooms are generally clean, and this restaurant is away from the main face of the shopping area so parking is a fair bit easier to find during peak hours.Very good.“
“Visited Frisco for the weekend and popped into Kin-D to try their take on Lao food. I was super impressed at how authentic and flavorful each dish was! I had lunch with 6 people so we were able to taste several dishes including the veggie and pork rolls, Lao sausage, garlic pork bites, nam khao, khao piak, mee ka tee, basil and curry fried rice, and pad thai.I was super impressed that they had nam khao and mee ka tee - two dishes I love but rarely see at restaurants.Overall everything was delicious and despite coming during a lunch rush and ordering a ton of dishes, all the food came out in a timely manner.Definitely recommend if you’re in the area!“
“Our two curry dishes were tasty and hot. Service was very fast at noon on a Saturday. The interior looks nice and the price was reasonable, $28 for both, including tax. Large portion sizes. Good location at Forest Lane and Marsh Lane. The only negative was that the sauce was a little watery. We have eaten Thai food for 30 years and this was above average.Parking: It's a strip mall anchored by a major grocery store with hundreds of parking spots.“
“I got the chicken Pad See Ew and my husband got the yellow curry fried rice. Both were great! Very friendly staff and prompt service. The atmosphere was elegant for such a small space. They're lunch is cheaper than dinner apparently and also a slightly smaller portion. Will definitely be back to try more on their menu!“
“I changed jobs and moved locations. I have tried every Best Thai, and every Thai restaurant, but this week I had an opportunity to revisit my special Best Thai. It was like coming home! I've never had better Rad Na. Everything we had was super good. You have to visit.“
“Curry was smooth and the meat was tender. The pad Thai noodles offered lots of flavors and were well balanced. They were able to adjust spice levels perfectly and offered additional sauces. The restaurant is a bit small but there are good seating options. The menus were an interesting touch. They were like passport books and had all the ingredients and pictures if you were unfamiliar.“
“I don't have to eat halal but I was excited when I heard this place was halal. Every single Thai place I've eaten at that is halal has amazing food. The atmosphere service and food is amazing. If you like Thai food don't miss out on this place.“
“Friendly staff, plenty of selections, and excellent food. It was an all-around great experience. We’re in Dallas for the week and will be back before we go!Dietary restrictions: Excellent selection of gf and vegan options!Parking: Plenty of parking.“
“Tried this restaurant on my trip to Dallas. We ordered Vegetable Penang Curry, Vegetable Pad Thai and Chicken Pad Thai. The food was delicious. I ordered spice level of 3 out of 5 with 5 being the spiciest though one of my friend ordered the Penang Curry with 4 spice level. 3 spice level was mild and perfect for me.The service was great and we got our entrees on time. The server even helped us clicking a picture for us.The ambiance was decent.I would highly recommend this place and must try if looking for a good Thai place! A+ Star“
“Everyone is righteous, honorable, noble, kind, and has great customer service.Fascinated with the service and environment. So refreshing and peaceful! The tea is pure and organic and I also the food!!!!Thank you!Rev. Dr. Jeremy Hall, Metaphysician“
“I had an outstanding experience at this Thai restaurant! The ambience is superb, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The chicken satay with peanut sauce is a must-try, and the spring rolls paired perfectly with the diverse spicy sauces, especially the chilli oil sauce. The red curry was delicious, and the smoked flavor in the pad see ew was delightful. Exceptional fried rice and can't wait to mention the absolutely delicious mango ice cream, adding a delightful sweet touch to the overall experience.“
“Food was on point Laotian food. Perfect balance of flavor. We had the Lao fried rice, Kapoon, beef jerky, sticky rice and Thai tea. Everything replicate the taste of soul food. Definitely will come back. On sunny days don't sit by the windows it can get hot. Otherwise it was a great experience.“
“This is a Thai chain and has three locations around downtown. So make sure you really put in the right address .Coming to food, it was refreshing , freshly made and super yummy. We were a party of 15 folks, so the staff was attentive and made sure order was delivered to the table in a sequence.Overall , a new addition to my restaurant list. Be it friends or work place buddies, you will have a good time. Reservations recommended ?“
“My go to Thai takeout place since moving here in 2019. I never get photos of the food because I inhale it so fast- it's that good. My order is crab wontons, Tom Kha soup, and either red or green curry! The spice level is customizable and the dishes are so rich and comforting. Next time you're wanting a night on the couch with take out- order this!“
“First time here. It’s way at the back of the plaza. Super chill atmosphere. We were greeted like family.Vegetarian options: The men had a selection of vegetarian but I wanted me some chicken and shrimp pad Thai, spring rolls with peanut sauce. Yum“
“Lovely family owned business filled with charm. The food is consistently wonderful filled with excellent flavor. We consistently order the appetizer chicken satay with peanut sauce that is spectacular followed by any of the main dishes that are always favorable and freshly made to order. Thank you Thai Opel and we look forward to dinner with you again in the very near future!“
“I can’t believe anything less than 4-5 stars for Saucy’s! The food is consistently great. (They ask for preferred spice level 1-5, but go low! It’s very spicy even at a 2.) The staff is attentive and friendly. The service is pretty fast. Someone send small portions: I beg to differ!!! My Saucy’s meals last me for 3 dinners-happily! We have been 4-5 times and with friends and everyone has been very happy (ecstatic even!) with their meals.“
“I typically get dinner to-go orders from here at least twice a month, but ate inside once when I brought a couple friends. I always enjoy the food and the wooden atmosphere is really nice inside. Staff are friendly and pretty quick regarding to-go orders. My friends also shared that they had a positive experience as well. Try out their pad thai or curry fried rice on the hot spicy level, it tastes better in my opinion.“
“I ordered a beef curry and basically no protein in the meal. I guess 3 OZ if protein in a $ 14.25 meal is not professional. Don’t ask the people bring the food back that is so unprofessional in order to avoid this kind of situations just serve what the client paid for. as a customer is so unpleasant take dinner home and bring it back because some one is trying to saveMoney to the owner Please don’t try to take advantage of guess with this kind of practices. This is the reason why lot of restaurants lost clients.“
“Khao-soi Curry noodles with the beef shank would highly recommend everything is fresh and packs an immense deep flavor. The dish has a lot of different textures that balance the eachother very well. Be mindful of the spice levels. The owner gave us some Thai sweet tea to help cool down another heavy hitter. Definitely need to try them.“
