As smoked brisket is absolutely my favorite food, I read about and chase it all over Texas; looking for that hidden gem that isn’t over-hyped and over-marketed. FOUND IT!! Hands down, Archer BBQ serves the best brisket I’ve ever had...and I’ve tried “the best”. Perfect bark, smoke ring, texture and flavor. A little off the beaten path, but well worth the stop. Had the 2-meat plate with Brisket and Sausage w/ Hatch Green Chili Mac and Cheese on the side. Not a big bean/potato salad guy so cant speak to it...Brisket and Sausage were cooked really well with plenty of flavor, especially the sausage. Brisket was very tender, No knife required.
