Wow, this place has changed. Always a good italian restaurant but the new owners have redone the dining room and the new bar area is very cool. The menu has changed too with some great italian dishes with a Texas flair. I had the Brisket Bolognase and they were able to sub the pasta noodle for a ribbon zucchini noodle - outstanding. I am always looking for places that have low carb and gluten-free options and they have some good ones. The GF meatball for an app was delicious....read full review
Great food, service and ambiance. The bartender makes the best drinks and the food is yummy. It is nice to go to a non pretentious place for an enjoyable dinner. They are adding items to the menu as the place is under new ownership. This place is what we need more of in NW Austin/Cedar Park.
Wine is half price Wednesday night at Gino's. But that's not the best reason for eating there. The food is excellent, the menu is extensive and interesting and the service is right on the money. The chef is still experimenting so every time we go there he has something new to offer. Karen our outstanding waitress was supported by busboys and runners who l did their jobs efficiently and with smiles. We've driven further, paid more, and had less fun than we have at Genos.
