“I spent a week at Spirit Wild Ranch back in 2006 and it was a fantastic time. It is a beautiful spot with every type of landscape you can imagine. From massive fields broken by wooded areas to picturesque water frontage on a crystal clear creek, it offers all kinds of opportunities for several species. It is well groomed and cared for to ensure longevity of future visitors. The accommodations were excellent, as was the company. Ted and family are salt of the earth folks and I wish more people had the opportunity to meet them outside of the normal media circus. Great place, beautiful accommodations & fantastic people. Highly reccommend.”

“We were vacationing at Lake Waco and got advice that Helberg BBQ was the best bbq in the area. We ordered the brisket & ribs with condiments & bread. I can say we were not disappointed. The BEST BBQ we have had in Texas. We are thankful for the advice to try Helberg & would recommend to anyone. The smoked ribs were my favorite, but the brisket was delicious too.”

“The best Cajun/New Orleans food in Waco…not even close. Actually as good or better than many places we’ve eaten at in New Orleans. This is a tiny restaurant with minimal atmosphere but don’t let that distract you from the great food. We will definitely be back.”

“Ate here on a crazy-busy Friday at lunch time. Total props to the 10-person (at least) crew working the counter, putting all the food together, and getting it out. The in-house bread used for the sandwiches really is outstanding. I enjoyed my sandwich, though I could have used some sort of sauce to give it a little kick, as it was all bread/meat/veggies/butter from what I could tell (Schmaltz sandwich). I would definitely go again, though, the next time we are in town.”

“This was my first time eating here and the food was great! Jeremiah the manager and Abel were fantastic very friendly. They both made sure we were happy with our order.We were sad to here Jeremiah's last day is Sunday because we planned to start visiting frequently. Hopefully the next person is as nice as he was. I think Jeremiah had a great attitude every though Sunday was his last day. Most people wouldn't care about the customers if they know they're leaving in a few days. I just wanted to give these guys recognition for an outstanding job thank you guys again.”

“The coffee and Sammy were good, but the rest...eh. Limited parking and baristas that just stand around. I was new there and mentioned that and placed my order. I was told it would be "right out". I kept checking the end of the counter or waiting on them to bring it to my table. After waiting for what seemed like forever, I went back to the counter to check the status and it had been sitting on the middle of the counter with some other drink orders. Didn't know how long it actually sat there!”

“We had Andrea as our server. She was very friendly and personable, answered any questions we had, and knew the menu.We got the guacamole salad, chicken fajitas, and a combo plate. I forgot the name.Chips were crisp, salsa was nice with a building heat, and while the guacamole was just mashed avocados, they were perfectly ripe. Huge chunks of chicken for the fajitas. The tamales were so good as were the charro beans, refried beans, and the RICE. The rice was very tasty.The prices were extremely fair.Will absolutely return.”

“The lady who helped us was outstanding! She gave my son some suggestions on what type of wings flavors he should try, and he loved them. She even kept coming to check on him to see if he enjoyed them. My chicken sandwich was good, and my daughter enjoyed her chicken strips. The only issue we had was that all of fries were cold, like they were cooked and sitting out too long then thrown on our plates.”

“I went to Luigi's at lunch, the food was very good. I ordered the lunch salad, it had grilled chicken, tomatos and black olives. It was served with a tomato vinaigrette, very tasty. The meal came with garlic roles, these tasted so good. I will eat here again.”

“I feel a calm when I walk into the atmosphere of this coffee place with its soft pinks, in cups and decore all around and the bold green wall that makes you feel your in nature. Several seating areas to get business done or be with friend and talk it out. Very comfortable. The staff are friendly. Asking how the customer is doing. Its all wonderful. Variety of drinks and a bite to eat. Let's not forget about those cute stickers at the counter. Very nice ? ? ? ?”

“Slow but friendly service, but I love the Horchata sno cone. Not much parking and the line is always long. They have a playground for the kids, and shaded seating to enjoy your purchases outside.”

“Martha's is our favorite place to get breakfast burritos. We go most weekends and enjoy the delicious homeade food and tortillas, chips and salsa. We are always greeted by the friendly ladies and are so glad we found this place! The restaurant is small and cozy located right off 19th street. They close at 2:40 pm or we would probably visit more often. I also have tried the Carne Guisada and Street Tacos which are both very good. I have probably tried a few other things, but the mentioned food have been favorites so I reorder them alot. Most of our burritos have Chicken Fajita, eggs, potatoes, and avacado. My husband and I highly recommend this restaurant and have plans to take more of our family there.Parking: The parking is a few spots in front and on side bit extends to the back.”
