“Great place to stop for fresh brewed coffee after a morning hike at Palo Duro canyon state park. Came in tired left out wired. Coffee was good and strong, we got a black and a latte, worth the stop.”
“What a gem! We stopped in town on our cross country road trip, it happened to be Valentine's Day. This is a small "mom and pop" joint but we dined in and were treated like VIPs. We had the soup, Jinda rolls, eggplant stir fry with tofu, egg fried rice, Thai tea, and brought home the mango sticky rice. Everything was delightful! The restaurant was very quiet, which was relaxing, and there were fresh flowers on the tables. Food was not fast (it seems they do a lot of take out business and it's a small operation) but we were comfortable and enjoyed each course as it came out. Highly recommend!”
“Driving through, gave it a try. GLAD we stopped! Sausage, egg, cheese kolache- delicious- plenty of filling, tender, fresh. Apple fritter perfect, not overly sweet. Good coffee. (Bathroom ok). Thank for the great breakfast!”
“Very nicely done for being out in the middle of nowhere. We learned a lot about "the father of the Texas Panhandle." And bison! We missed the last guided tour of the day for the house but could see a lot from doors and windows. Be sure to watch the videos in the gift shop area!”
“Western Dining is the restaurant at the college. When it is in session so is the restaurant. You can eat breakfast, lunch or supper. Have hot food as well as a great salad/sandwich/soup bar. Great place to go and it is already ready.”
“Came to visit family who has raved about how good it was so we had to try it out. Sol's did not disappoint! The food was amazing, fresh, full of flavor and fast. The waitress Gracie was incredible with our party of 10. So patient and kind and on top of everything! We will be back at every visit!!!”
“Not yet exactly fancy dining but my cheeseburger was probably one of the best I have ever had. Spicy fries were good too. Onion rings batter fried and hot. I would highly recommend the burgers! Staff were very friendly.”
“Didn’t catch her name but friendly carhop that took our order at the patio tables. Willing to help and had a great attitude. Burgers were some of the best I’ve had from Sonic in a long time.”
“Stocking Ice Cream Parlor is such a gem! The building is one of the oldest in Claude and has a rich history. The owner, Rhonda, keeps 33 varieties of Blue Bell ice cream in the freezer each day! She also has soft serve ice cream, but the real cherry on top is her homemade brownies and cookies. Try a brownie sundae, you won't be disappointed!”
