Customer service should be the first thing in a restaurant, so unless this rule has changed I suggest the wait staff learn to smile. I felt as if we were invading. No came to check on us after our order was place and brought to table. When I finally realized I had to come up cash waitress and ask for to go boxes. I had to get my paper cups.
Well you're in Clifton Texas and you've gotta fix for some authentic Tex- Mex and the atmosphere to go with it. So I pulled into El Charro Mexican Grill. Not real busy at the time so service was exceptional. Early afternoon on a Thursday if I recall. I looked at my watch and we'll it was 5 o'clock somewhere and I'm on vacation. Had a great server and she was prompt the whole time. Clean tables and overall restaurant. I've had a lot of Mexican food in my life, and I was dissatisfied. Wasn't particularly bad, but was not good.
