We were passing through this town this weekend on a long road trip. We just wanted to sit down somewhere for a good real breakfast. We decided on Johnny's Place because Mom and pop shops tend to have better tasting and quality food than franchise restaurants. We were definitely happy with our choice and the food and prices were great!
We eat at Johnny's all the time and usually have a good experience, but today I was very disappointed. The 3 rating I gave the meal was for my husband's food and my curly fries. My patty melt was on dried bread and the burger was burned. Our server asked if everything was alright and i told her about the patty melt. She offered to have another made but I said no and my husband finished and we went to pay. Again we were asked if our meal was okay. I shared again about my meal....read full review

Busy little country cafe. I had an excellent chicken fried steak sandwich, and some of the best fries I've had in a long while. Very friendly and helpful staff and reasonable prices too.
