“Flicks is a hole in the wall that everyone should try. The food is probably the most reasonably priced I’ve seen in years and it is still really good food. Flicks is also really clean and that includes the bathrooms. Great pizza at half the price of the competitors. Also, the wings are pretty good too.Kid-friendliness: It has some free arcade games. But it’s a very friendly atmosphere.”

“I am always on the hunt for the best Huevos Rancheros. This is without a doubt the best I have ever had. I have driven here several times from West El Paso and it is consistently the same. GOOD! “This establishment was recommended by a few friends. Sometimes when you get the chips and salsa and that is good you expect the food to be that good. I got a Mexican plate to sample various items. The Enchilada was good. I also liked the Chile Relleno. The rice and beans were ok. The only issue was the tamal. It had an interesting flavor but it was crumbly. It was dry, it needed more moisture. The taco was good. If I had ordered the taco plate I would have been satisfied. On certain items you get a trip to the salad bar. The salad bar is not big but you get some prepared salads like chicken or tuna salad. I will go back and try other items. They are open late during the week and on Sunday they close at 2:00. Try it for yourself. It is far from town but it does not need to advertise. Sometimes there is a line to get a table. There are plenty of tables and still there is a line to get in.”

“Went there to buy 15 lbs of masa prepared for tamales at $2.00 a pound and 2 bags of corn husks at $6.00 ea the masa was freshly prepared and the husks were nice and clean ? I usually go there to purchase them. I like the Masa flavor.”

“After being in Korea was excited to hear about this restaurant and their concept. They definitely nailed the quick, have everything in a bowl that can be eaten on the go with no issue. The sauces available are also a plus. The customer service is certainly a plus especially they offer a free Mandy for first timers. The ambiance felt welcoming but definitely not a Korean vibe.”

“I love their cafe de ollá. I tried the enchiladas rojas, an where very delicious. My husband tried the huevos rancheros an was very satisfy with the taste of the food. Nice staff and owner. Very young men who has great customer service to the client. I notice he goes on and beyond to make sure his clients are satisfy with what they want to order and if he does not have it, he will try his best to make it for you. I highly recommend this place. Get there early. It's kind of small. They also have menudo everyday. Open from 7 am till 10 pm.”

“This place was so out of the norm for a sushi restaurant, but it definitely worked. His dishes were creative and delicious. We have definitely found our new sushi spot. “If you're looking for a unique yet excellent pastry shop, this is the place to try. I had heard many food things about this place and had to give it a whirl myself. The tripleta sandwich was very good and was complemented nicely with the dipping sauce that was served alongside it. As far as pastrys go, I tried the guava and cream cheese pastry. To say it was delectable is an understatement. A combination of sweet and savery that I will not soon forget. I will most definitely be returning in the future.”

“It was my first time visiting Ambers Coffee Bar. I found the place extremely adorable and cozy. It was empty when I arrived and was right away greeted by staff. They were very friendly and willing to make my coffee of choice even though they didn’t have it on the menu. Coffee was delicious, I also ordered a chocolate muffin which was also very good. “We stopped by Wine Down after getting some vegetables across the street (also worth five stars) and had a great lunch. The Italian Ciabatta and Chicken Salad sandwiches were both very good, and we loved the Noisy Water Moscato. The cozy atmosphere makes this place perfect for a family outing or a date.”

“The FLAVORS!!!! The food!!! The staff!!!I cannot express how awesome this place is!!!!My book club met there on Saturday (3/2/24). They were absolutely welcoming and it really felt like home. The dishes are made by one of the owners (Melissa). We later found out she holds a class once a month to teach how to make pottery.I had a Topo Chico with lavender syrup….if a dream was in a cup, it’s that drink. I had the Olihongo dish with the lion’s mane “steak”. It’s a vegetarian dish, but let me say that I am not a vegetarian. It was so delicious I second guessed me eating meat ever again lol . We got to speak to Gabe & Melissa at the end of the night and we’re learning more about their heritage, the Piro. Gabe & Melissa do stay true to their traditions of their heritage and the food is on par with what they wanted to share with the community. They do close on certain days to give availability to the community to use their space for their own endeavors (must contact in advance for information). The story behind the Abuela dessert is one to definitely touch your heart. Delicious for sure and definitely made with love to honor her memory. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this is a place to impress with their food and atmosphere. The wait staff is amazing and they really handle everything with care. A true gem in the heart of the lower valley!”
