“AMAZING!! We had such a wonderful experience! I researched the menu before going... there are so many new places to eat in College Station since I graduated. We went knowing what we our order would be... until we were presented the specials! Crab cakes were perfect and oh so creamy. The lobster carbonara was Smokey and hearty. The cheese ravioli was classic. The special of a filet Oscar was laid over mashed potatoes with a truffle cream sauce was the best. It is so popular it will be on the full menu soon. And my personal favorite were the scallops also on special. I am a sucker for some scallops. They were exceptional with a slight crust and seasoned so well. They were served over a bed of creamy risotto. This is our new favorite restaurant and we will be back every trip to town! Bravo to the chef and team! Speaking of team, the reviews I read spoke of the wonderful and the less than great service. I have to say, that has changed and the service was great!“
“I always come to this place and it is absolutely worth it! Today I had a weird encounter where the guy who was serving my food serve me less pasta and made my plate look less than it usually is. I believe because of my confusion expression you could notice my disappointment. Molly a great employee asked if something was wrong so kindly in which I expressed my thoughts, the crew working agreed and, fix my plate to the regular standard. This type of attitude and approach as a representative of piada is amazing. I hope Molly gets compensated and recognize because she truly did make my experience amazing.“
“I had some food restrictions for pizza ingredients, so when I order, I always order the “specialty” rolls which allow you to put whatever ingredients inside the pizza rolls rather than just the pepperoni and cheese. This particular location was extremely accommodating towards those restrictions unlike the Bryan location. I highly recommend going. Also the rolls are fantastic!! “It was my husband and kids first time there and it was my 3rd and I was really excited for them to try it, and the LOVED it just like I knew they would. Also the waitress we had was Phenomenal I don't recall her name but she made sure we had everything we needed, she took great care of us. My family and I do plan on going back very soon and I highly recommend it to anyone and every one! Fantastic food with a great price!!??Kid-friendliness: The waitress made sure our kids had a booster seat and their food was made correctly I have very picky kids so it was really nice to go to a restaurant where they Accommodated very thing they needed with out an issue.??“
“To start, the prices are very reasonable and the food is of superb quality. This restaurant also has live music in the evenings! The best part though was our server. Mikey gave us fantastic service. He had excellent recommendations, was super friendly from the start, and knew exactly when to check in on us. He made sure we left completely satisfied. I will definitely be coming back and recommending this place to all my friends because of him. If he's not already a manager, he needs to be!“
“I would like to say I was very surprised to learn that there is still a Fazoli’s in college station. I remember when they used to be all over Houston, but sadly didn’t make the cut for H-Town cuisine. I told Genesis, “That I haven’t had Fazoli’s since 2021 in Savannah, GA and really enjoyed the meal.” However, if you enjoy eating an hearty hot meal they need more patronage from the local community. If you’re an Aggie swing by there you’ll enjoy the food.“
“Such an AMAZING place. I was skeptical due to the reviews being a bit lower than I’m used to, but they do not deserve any low reviews. 5 stars for everything!!!! First of all, our waiter, Walt, was amazing and gave great recommendations. The cream soda was so delicious. The bread was so airy and light and the mozzarella was like nothing I’ve had before. I ordered the tortellini alla capri and my husband ordered the cajun tortellini and we were both deeply impressed. Didn’t need any extra cheese or anything. It was perfect! Then, we ended the night with a delicious and indulgent chocolate mousse cake. Definitely will be coming back!!!“
“We haven't been here since our 1x visit in 2019 and honestly, we never thought we would return. After reading and seeing how things are different now since reopening coupled with my intense craving for pasta we found ourselves dining in, and omg am I glad we did! We visited for dinner which is traditional table service now which is different from our 2019 experience and very much a huge positive change. We were greeted by a hostess, seated and then promptly greeted by our waitress, Shelly, who was fantastic, especially for all the tables she had. I had 2 different margaritas which I recommend, the Italian and the Pink Cadillac (this was my fav), we ordered bread sticks and the fried ravioli for an appetizer, both were good but the bread sticks were great. The owner stopped by our table prior to us ordering and he was so welcoming and really wanted to make sure we ended up with food for "us" by asking our usual preferences and etc. He explained which items are made from scratch there in house and he made some recommendations. He also stopped by about halfway through our meal to check in as well. I ordered the Chicken Nozze which comes with a side of spaghetti with marinara sauce and that simple little side dish of noodles and sauce hooked me lol. I will be back just for that, I loved the sauce, I added some Parmesan and red pepper flakes and it made such a delicious sweet but savory flavor with some kick. My husband had the dinner combo which is a half serving of lasagna and cannelloni. I can't speak to the lasagna personally because I didn't taste it ( what was I thinking?!) but I did try the cannelloni and it was delicious. He loved both and he really liked my dish as well, again, he really liked the side of spaghetti. We did not have any desserts due to our abstinence of sweets in observation for Lent but I most definitely will be coming back for that cheesecake that is recommended ;) I'm also coming back to try the trio seafood pasta.It's important to note that this isn't the type of Italian place where you are spending $45 on one thing of pasta that is full of truffles or etc, this is home cooking Italian, and most everything is made from scratch, and this is not Americanized Italian like the Olive Garden or etc. This is something I'd expect to eat at my Aunt Theresa's house for Sunday dinner. So happy we gave them another chance 5 years later, we love a good comeback story ❤️“
“Jazz and blues music plays softly in the background and the staff is capable, friendly, and unobtrusive. Delicious dishes are authentic Italian with a few concessions to American customs. My ravioli stuffed with braised beef from spare ribs was excellent, filling, and not unlike something I would find in a non-touristy part of Rome. The Tuscan salad with straciatella cheese took me back to Sienna. The fried calamari appetizer was tender with a crunchy crust.The wine list is excellent.When I want to have a special dinner in College Station, casa Mangiare is a top choice.“
