“This is a must-do! Ben was an amazing bartender/mixologist. He was knowledgeable on the distillation process, flavor profiles, and unique features of each of the liquors made here. No matter if you like sweet or spirit-forward drinks, they are all available. Don’t be fooled when they say honey spirits, the liquors aren’t sweet on their own. The spirits taste the same as other spirits straight up. The main difference for me was the spirits here are more refined, smooth, and flavorful. I’ll definitely be stopping by every time I’m on the Big Island!”
“Underrated GEM! How lucky am I to have found this place? Mediterranean food is growing on me and I crave it so often now. Finding this place is a game changer! While I wasn't expecting a place like this to have $25 menu items, it's totally worth it! We got the grilled lamb chops for $25 which is a bit pricey but believe me when I tell you it's worth it! While waiting for our takeout, we chatted up the nice lad at the counter who was kind enough to tell us more about the neighborhood and what there is to do out here. Place is small and basic, i would likely order for takeout than dine in.”
“Had our first experience with Sam's Pizza, very pleasantly surprised, very good pizza. Both were tasty, hot and made as ordered. Better than any chain delivery pizza place. It would have been a 5/5 except both pizzas we ordered were severely lacking sauce. Sam, your pizzas need more sauce, correct this and you will get 5/5 every time.”
“The food was very good and the restaurant was very lively. It's much more of a family oriented restaurant than I realized. I would go back with kids but probably not just with adults. It was very loud so not ideal for quiet conversation. But if you're looking for a lively family friendly restaurant, this would be a great option!”
“We were just here tonight and the service and food were outstanding! If you are in the area, stop in, you will enjoy it…music is a bonus!”
“Molina’s Cuban Cuisine offers a delightful journey into the heart of Havana with its vibrant atmosphere and authentic flavors. The lechón asado is a standout dish, boasting succulent, slow-roasted pork that melts in your mouth, perfectly seasoned with traditional spices and a hint of citrus. It’s a must-try for anyone seeking the quintessential Cuban culinary experience. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Cuban food or a curious newcomer, Molina’s lechón asado is a dish that’s sure to become a go-to favorite.”
“Service especially was amazing! The person helping us was so helpful! I plan on coming here again :)”
“This place is very nice, it has good comfort and atmosphere, the service is good, and you can play pool”
“The food is amazing!!!!!! We have tried almost everything on the menu. If you want a taste of Persian food, this place is outstanding.I am waiting in anticipation for an opportunity to order catering from Zood.Vegetarian options: The staff is extremely informed on all ingredients.Dietary restrictions: Felt very comfortable sharing dietary restrictions and getting suggestions on what is safe to eat.”
“Fish and chips were delicious. Can't wait to go back and buy other fresh fish as everything looked great.”
“I love your momos but it breaks my heart that you guys removed it from Uber eats and DoorDash ”
“The food and service was excellent! Jackie our server made our first and not last dinner here one of the best!”
“Atmosphere is fine just gets really loud for me. The food was amazing and accurate tastes of OaxacaKid-friendliness: There were kids there, and it does not have a bar vibe. The kids looked happy”
“Going on a Friday night was a mistake. We joined the wait list via their website but were informed when we arrived that they don't use that system anymore. The wait was long and there's no waiting area so everyone was standing in the way of staff walking by and people trying to get through the door. The food is exactly the same as their former restaurant (which is to say good quality but not true Tex-Mex) and drinks incredibly overpriced.”

“I went to Kura on the first day they were open. I've previously visited their Fort Lee NJ location.I got there 15 mins before they opened and waited 1 hour for a table. The staff was doing their best to manage the large crowd. You check in via a tablet and they text you when your table is ready. The system was a little glitchy.Once inside, we received good service and ate some good food. I was impressed at how well things were going considering it was the first day of business. For those of you who have never been to a restaurant like this, you order food and drinks from a tablet on at your table. Sushi, rolls and other dishes go past you on a conveyor belt. Each dish is the same cost. When you are done with the dish, you put it into a slot at the table which counts how many you had.You can get a prize for having certain number of dishes. The prizes are pretty cheap and not worth it, but I was there for the food. The tables can fit 4 people. Its not a good place for a large group. There is a section for single diners if you are just one or two people.Note that as of April 22, 2024, the parking area is under construction.I recommend signing up for their app to get the rewards points and to manage your waitlist time.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly dishes that you can order off the menu”
“Just went in to try the vegan chocolate chip cookie! Really cute spot in a hot location, cute neon signs. Staff was super friendly!!They only had 2 options for vegan ice cream and only 1 vegan cookie. It was good, but really thin. Not much else to say about it!”
“Opening weekend was fire Andrea was amazing with suggestions and supporting us in taking all the pics as we're all huge LVP fans. We tried so many things and honestly no surprise the goat cheese balls continue to reign supreme Cocktail game is as strong as ever. Big bad wolf and Cry Wolf are just stunning and delicious cocktails. Also don't forget the shotski and howl at the end. Last but certainly not least every single detail of this space from entry to departure is just elegance and well thought out. We already can't wait to return and bring more people to this space.”
“We had a HUGE group on Saturday 4.20.2024. We were all at one end of the bar and Shaun seemed to be able to keep up with the movement of folks and separate orders. The DOO seemed to have a great handle on the place, but I will say this. Lead from the pull, not from the push. If you see something that needs to be done, don't call out the bartender. Do it yourself and then make it a teachable moment. I was impressed that the DOO was well aware of what was going on and took time to talk to us. Great food, B- service, but overall everyone had fun.”
“The service and food was absolutely amazing! Thank you Riley!! Will be coming back! I got one of the fried rolls and their brownie dessert; everything was cooked to perfection!! The vibe is immaculate and so are all of the people who work here!”
“We had previously gone to a steakhouse across the street; however, after no service for us and several other guests, we left and tried Ember and Oak since switching to new management. We sat outside on a Saturday, had live music, and Brandon was our server. The weather, service, and every dish we ate was AMAZING. Exceeded our expectations and we’re looking forward to next time.”
“Excellent breakfast! Prompt service, good food and decent portions. All served exactly as ordered. Great value. Will definitely be back!!!”
“Not to be missed for those who like Vietnamese bread and coffee. Order the special croissant and salted coffee. A perfect combination. Moreover, with the variety of drinks (slush, fruits tea, milk tea) my daughter fall in love with their peach tea and lychee tea. Mild sweet & topped with fruits.”
“I ordered one of the special spring drinks they had and it was the most expensive coffee I’ve ever ordered, $10.30. I do have to say it was extremely good, but I won’t be back because of the high prices. Cute spot but they really need to adjust their prices.”
“We came on one of the first couple days Teriyaki Madness was open, and we are now huge fans. Friendly and helpful staff made us feel welcome right away. The spicy teriyaki chicken and orange chicken are each tasty, and I’m looking forward to trying a spicy orange chicken in a future visit. Brown rice (often dry or bland at other restaurants) was cooked perfectly and provided a soft, flavorful contrast to the orange chicken. Yakisoba noodles covered with spicy teriyaki chicken was equally good. These folks know how to make food! The teriyaki sauce is truly something special — sweet and savory perfectly balanced. We look forward to more teriyaki meals from this spot in future!”
“Popped in for a quick lunch and enjoyed everything about this new bar and restaurant on International Drive. Had a chance to enjoy their amazing house smoked wings. They were flavorful and crispy just that way I like them. Then we shared the Meatball sub and French Onion Dip sandwich. I highly recommend both options.”
“They have the best monthly features!! We were here in January and the Coconut cake was so good! I hope they make it a staple on their menu :)”
“Delicious and healthy bowl! Felt great after eating it. Will be coming here a lot more.”
“The staff was so friendly and the food was amazing!!! I got the chicken melt which was literally the best chicken sandwich I've ever had!!! I will definitely be a regular at The Kitchen 601!!!”
“The mocktails are DELISH and it was fun for my nieces to get those that matched my husband and I’s cocktails! The burger was so good both of my nieces actually finished their dinner. I had the Sarges Salad and it was perfect and my husband inhaled his shrimp tacos. The salsa is delish and the atmosphere is awesome too. Love the patio booths!”

“I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and service we received owner Mr. Ming personally greets and attends to all customer needs. I can honestly say Sushi Hin is my favorite sushi place in the West Island. I have been there twice and the quality and service is very consistent. On my last visit i was there for lunch in a group of four and we were offered items that are only available for the night service. I thought that was a nice gesture and we really appreciated how far they went to win our loyalty to the restaurant. i highly recommend you give them a try.”
“As my friend and I walked in, we were immediately greeted by Dominick and we were seated in a very plush chair. We could see the entire room from where we were seated. The patrons were of all ages (no children). The ambience is of modern flare compared to the old world Japanese style and house music vibes gave the restaurant superb energy. We had the Nice Pear and Kinjo cocktails. They were beautifully executed and not too sweet. A very nice combination of flavors and herbs. We shared the Shrimp Tempura which was lightly breaded (yay!) We also had the Uni and the Spicy Tuna roll, all filled with scrumptious flavors and well presented. To top this off, we ate the Lady M cake and it was to die for. Very light, crisp, and melts in your mouth. Throughout the evening, Dominick was very attentive and made sure our visit was an outstanding one. Our waitress (I apologize I forgot your name) was very knowledgeable with the menu and prompt on getting our orders out. Kudos to Dominick, the waitress, the chef, and the bartender!”

“The fella who’s always behind the counter (I assume he’s the owner) is just the best, he’s a super hard worker and everything is always quality. It’s also super affordable, not Park Slope prices. I very much appreciate a solid NY deli that isn’t outrageously priced.”
“Everything that we ordered was delicious and freshly prepared. Carne Asada wrap, chicken quesadilla. Both excellent. My Dad said the smoothie was the best he's ever had! Just go here , it's the best food north of Oaxaca. Gracias, ”

The conveyor belt sushi chain Kura Revolving Sushi Bar has huge growth plans for 2024. The company just announced it will open between 13 to 14 new restaurants across the United States in its 2024 fiscal year. That would be the highest number of new locations Kura has ever opened in a single year since first coming to America back in 2009. "Our organization has demonstrated that it's more than capable of meeting that challenge year after year, and we're excited to keep delivering on that," said CEO Hajime "Jimmy" Uba.

"We welcome our new franchisees and look forward to a successful partnership."
Major fast-food chains across America are racing to install more digital kiosk ordering stations - and they have a good reason. The self-service kiosks have shown their efficiency in making customers spend more money per order. "People who ordered at kiosks rather than at cashiers spent on average nearly 10% more," Shake Shack CEO Randy Garutti told investors in February. Yum! Brands, parent of Taco Bell, KFC and Pizza Hut, is also prioritizing kiosk expansions. Taco Bell has them in all U.S. stores, while KFC should have kiosks in the "vast majority" of non-China restaurants by end of 2026.
Tony Gemignani's fast-casual pizza chain Slice House is coming to Tennessee. The San Francisco-based company just signed a deal to open 11 new locations across the state, with the first ones slated to open in 2025. "We are proud to have an experienced franchise partner on-board for the long term and look forward to offering our authentic, award-winning pizza to Tennesseans," said Gemignani.
In a major beverage switchup, PepsiCo has signed a 10-year deal to become the exclusive drink provider for all Subway sandwich shops in the United States, replacing long-time partner Coca-Cola. Pepsi products like Mountain Dew soda, Gatorade drinks, Tropicana juices, and Aquafina water will start being offered at Subway's over 20,000 U.S. restaurant locations from January 1st, 2025 onwards. It will take several months to get all the Subway stores switched over.
Hawaiian Bros, the fast-casual restaurant chain dishing up island-inspired eats, has signed three major multi-unit franchise deals to open more restaurants. The new agreements will add lots of new Hawaiian Bros locations in markets like Portland, Nashville, and Las Vegas over the coming years. With its tropical style, tasty food, and growing number of locations, Hawaiian Bros is heating things up as it brings island flavors to mainland markets. The recent multi-unit franchise agreements mark a major wave of expansion for the on-the-rise brand.
Pollo Campero is going hard on expansion, with plans to open at least 25 new locations across the U.S. in 2024. This fast-growing Guatemalan chicken chain (known for its fire fried and grilled chicken, sandwiches, salads and sides) is riding high after a successful 2023. Pollo Campero expects to hit over 100 total U.S. stores by the end of this month. Minnesota and Tennessee are already on the radar for 2024 expansion.
Bojangles is bringing its famous "Southern Charm" to the Valley in a big way. The popular chicken chain announced plans to open 20 new locations in the Phoenix area. "With the consumer demand for chicken at an all-time high, there has never been a better time to be in the segment," said Jim Cannon, Bojangles' chief development officer. "Our new boneless platform has resonated strongly in each new market we enter."
“They are the BEST catering company in Maine for lobster bakes and clam bakes. They accommodated all my guests' dietary restrictions including a vegan option, while I got to sit back and relax. I would highly recommend this small business based out of Portland, Maine for all catering occasions.”
