A friend recommended La Unica to us for the tortillas and since we were in Conroe for other business we decided to stop by. We didn't know they served lunch, but since it was lunchtime when we got there we decided to go for it. Glad we did. "A CLASSIC tortilleria" with steam table for ready to eat plates or tacos! Fresh and hot barbacoa & carnitas. The freshly made corn tortillas are absolutely delicious all by themselves. Including salsas, frijoles and tostadas. I have been here numerous times and never have I been disappointed. Delicious!

The only place around to get real chicharrones!! The barbacoa was not ‘clean’. Lots of undesirable bits. When I asked for ‘cachete’ they looked at me like I was insane. All in all, it will scratch your Sunday morning itch for Barbacoa.
