Decided to come here on a whim on our way back from a fishing trip. The food was delicious! We had the lomo saltado, ceviche peruano, and grilled cheese sandwiches (for the kids). The flavors were authentic and everything was super tasty. The only downside was that we had to wait 30+ minutes for our order, but in the end it was worth it because we were very satisfied with the food (maybe the wait was because we came in at an off time in the afternoon around 3 PM). Highly recommend you give this place a try!

We ordered the cucumber poke bites as an appetizer. It blew us away with the lightness and mix of flavors, setting a very high bar for our meals. The Peruvian poke and shrimp tacos exceeded our expectations, with the Peruvian seasonings working in harmony with the fresh gulf seafood. This was one of the best meals we have had! This is place is absolutely amazing, and we will be back again when in the areaWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly building and table placement

This place was popular tonight so the parking lot was full. You have to find parking on the grass but beware the drainage ditch. When you first walk in you’ll notice a bar atmosphere and a smoky haze that hangs throughout the room. At first I thought I was in a cigar joint. Then I realized that it’s coming from the open kitchen and whatever fan is there isn’t working. So come prepared to go home smelling of whatever is popular that day.Second you’ll notice that the tables are all crooked. Some more than others. It’s hilarious to watch other people eating like in a Picasso painting.Thirdly there’s an ATM machine next to the bar. Why is it there, I wondered. The bar was full and it looked like they were busy. They got the orders quick enough. It took a long time for the food to come out. Looking into the kitchen it looked like there was only one cook on the station with the fire. The Food.Almost everything we ordered was salty on the magnitude of 3.I had the tuna nachos and the only way it was slightly bearable was eating it with the nacho chips. In fact the best thing about that nacho was the chips. The salt and pepper wings had something very tart with an odd taste. It wasn’t a pleasant taste. My little nephew spit it out on the 1st try.The shrimp curry was way off the chart in one spice. It was not edible. I’ve never had curry like that before. The Pescado saltado was so salty. The ceviche was meh.The coconut tres leches doesn’t stand up to a normal tres leches. There was supposed to be all these Asian flavors and somehow it all went wrong.Being that I’m Asian I can’t imagine any true Asian accepting this standard of cooking. If this was an off night then they really need to work on consistency with someone needing to check on the quality of food being sent out.2 stars for food. 3 for service. 2 for the polluted atmosphere.

The food has always been so good.Today it took over 1 hour to get the appetizer plus we got our meal at the same time.Short of help it was just one person making drinks and one person cooking. 4 tables when we got their.Waiter always nice.Food was good as always except my husbands fish tacos.Ingredients amazing buy the taco toetillsa were like leather. We told our server. All he said was sorry. Never even asked if we wanted fresh. We will still go. But to have something not edible as a high dollar dish it should be redone.

Nick, the owner is a bona-fide peruvian chef. Owner/ chef for 10 years. Great vibe. Great food. Lomo Saltado challenges the best I've had in Miami or any other place I've eaten (and it's one of my favorite dishes). My only regret is not taking a photo!

I am almost 100% sure that they served me actual shit. The service is also shit. Please do not go here if you want a relaxing beach dinner there are hobos cooking your food with no hygiene

I agree with the environment about this place. It’s a dive. It’s not what you’d want; I knew this and opt to take it to go. It got worse. My husband and I come down to north padre every year from Austin for his birthday. This year we came twice, today is our anniversary. In June we found Costa sur and loved it as we haven’t like any of the food down here. The first order in June, we got the wrong order and luckily they just gave us someone else’s and we got ours quickly.Last night I called in an order at 5pm and was specifically asked if I’d like fish or shrimp for my taco and told the order would be ready in 20 mins. We drove upThere at 530 and the order was not ready for another 10-15mins. When we got our order, my tacos were replaced with fried fish and fries. We called them to get the right order and drove back. When we got there, the order hadn’t even been put in. My husbands sandwich was now cold at the hotel while we waited so I asked for another sandwich (this was our anniversary dinner and we just wanted it to be right and enjoyable!) I waited around with extremely loud horrible music and barely any air flow. The manager could hardly help as she was too busy being a server and she couldnt even hear me speak over the guy trying to sing- I didn’t get my food until 7pm.Overall: dark, loud, horribly long wait, food is fine but not great
