Honestly, I was a bit skeptical because it is located in a gas station but this is some of the best BBQ I have ever had here in Texas or anywhere else. Also, the staff was welcoming and very attentive. I ordered the Chop Sandwich and Fries. It was $11 for the sandwich but it was loaded with meat and on a high quality bun. Worth every penny.My only regret was not tipping the staff more as I was on the road and took my meal to go.Highly recommend
I've been ordering takeout for the office from the Brazos for two years now. We all LOVE the Turkey Jalapeno sandwich. BE AWARE these sandwiches will leave you full and ready for a good nap!

I tried to go there yesterday to eat lunch but the parking lot was full and so is the restaurant. I went by this afternoon to get enough beef and a couple sides so my wife and I could have a sandwich for dinner and we didn’t have to cook. They were almost sold out of everything at 1:30 . The owner heard what I was saying and ended up chopping me up the little bit of brisket that they had left and I got turkey and beans.
