“"I had a wonderful dining experience at La Bella Travola yesterday! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a lovely spot to enjoy a meal. But the real star of the show was the food - absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, and I left feeling satisfied but not stuffed. And let's not forget the limoncello cake, it was heavenly! Highly recommend this place for a satisfying and flavorful Italian meal. 5 stars!"”
“If you want or need some down home cooking in Cuero this is the best place to go to. Except they're only open from 7 to 2 I believe and closed on Saturday and Sunday.”
“We had a great experience. The food and service were great and very fast. Recommend coming here and the pricing is great. We will be back. I had the Hernandez plate and my wife had a mixed drink and the enchilada plate. It was excellent.”
“I moved here from Houston 5 months ago and this is my favorite place to eat in town. The food is consistently top notch. The service is good, especially for a small town. My favorite dish is the carne asada, it comes with a cheese enchilada and your choice of 2 sides for $16! I always get refried beans and french fries, yum ?. But everything I've tried so far is really good, haven't tried everything yet, but I'm working on it! Oh, and the frozen margaritas are really good! Definitely worth stopping at Maya's anytime you're craving some consistently awesome food and service!”
“Place is off the main road and is great for family dining. First time here and had breakfast. Breakfast plates and tacos were excellent. Large flour tortillas meaning tacos were big and delicious. Will definitely be back on a regular basis.”
“Cute little cafe right on the main road. Short wait time; even though I had to go in as I didn’t see a drive thru window. Very nice and friendly cook and waitress. Tacos are HUGE with fresh tortillas. They even gave me a good amount of salsa. Great little stop on my way to work.”
“It's an if you're going too fast you'll miss it place. Being nextdoor neighbors to Smoliks and Jalisco's it's easy to just pass it on by. But if you do you'll miss out on great tasting authentic Mexican food. Where every dish I've had is consistently just tasty. It's like mom used to make, because it's a mother and daughter duo. The mom whips it up and the daughter serves. When I go it's always friendly, because they take the time to know you so if you go a couple of times it's like going to your relatives house to get a quick bite to eat. There's a convient outlet next to my favorite table when my battery runs low I'll plug it in. Or I'll bring my phone and watch Facebook while I eat. No stares or judgment. There are no long wait lines because the mom's been doing it for ages so her knowledge and skill are impressive. It's quick without skimping on the taste. It's a smallish dining area cozy and close to everything. It's a bit warm but not stuffy. For me the most important part is the price. Hands down you can't beat them here the prices are beyond reasonable. For a large taco, chips salsa, drink I paid under ten, and as low as five. On this particular day I had a Migas plate with drink and chips it was an even ten.So if you appreciate great authentic Mexican food, and if you find yourself in this historic town for business like I do and want a quiet place to talk or think, or impress I'd come here. Really no fear money well spent.”
“Really depends on time of day have had better service when attending in the evening after work faster food and service and more attention. The for the most part food is great authentic Mexican food.”
“It's a shack at someone's house. takes cash only. The food is great. Don't be shy just walk up . Just a bit of a wait, but only cause it's the owner is working solo but worth the ”
“Better tacos than another specialty chain restaurant. Hamburgers are the best in town in my opinion. It's an older place and could use some upkeep and rehab.Parking: Tha parking lot is on the small side”
“I really like their chopped brisket sandwiches. I ask for fatty cut and they never disappoint. Every time I go here they are really engaging and seem truly thankful for your business. Just a chill environment to relax and eat some bbq. They also have a drive thru and take phone ins for orders if you don't want to go inside.”
“The prices for drinks were outrageous but everything else was great.Parking: There's not enough space to park. I had to park in Whataburger parking lot.Kid-friendliness: There are games for kids to play and decorations for pictures.”
“Good was really great. Our only complaint was that it took over an hour to get our food. But, tomorrow is Christmas Eve, so that could have had something to do with it.”
“The kid that works windows & brings food for curbside is great.... brought food out in rain & never complained..at window double checked I had everything I needed...he's great & they should be glad they have him because some of those people need to be removed from the public...Parking: Great parking”
“I drive back and forth through Cuero, and I’m glad I stopped here. Had a tuna salad sandwich and 2 of their packaged cookies that were for sale on the counter. The sandwich was GREAT! Reasonably priced. The cookies were better than I expected. The facility seems clean, and the service is friendly. I love “hometown” diners. I’ll be stopping in again!”
