“Friendly staff. Fast service, always someone asking if I needed anything. Steak was cooked as ordered and tasted great. Beans were very good as well, fresh bread. Young lady brought me Togo tea as well. Couldn't have been better. I eat out alot and this place is tops. Interior was very appealing too. XIT is doing a great job.”
“Man.. this place is excellent.. not as many choices as most places but the food they do have is awesome.. loved the loaded baked taters, egg drop soup, the seafood bake, and everything I tried.. and a pretty good bargain at $13… got room for a truck to the south, and the truckstop is within walking ”
“Stopped on the way through and had a great grilled cheese and some of the best pimento cheese. Would have loved to stay and have brunch, as the owner says they have brunch every Saturday morning (mimosas, French toast, etc.). Neat shop with great food, tobacco shop, etc. Will definitely be stopping again on our way between Texas and Montana. Everyone was so nice to visit with!”
“After 9 hours of driving finding Hodies was just what we needed. My husband loved his catfish dinner. I had chicken fried steak, good comfort food. The wait staff was very friendly. We felt very welcomed. May need to add this place on our list of places to stop in future years.”
“I had to pay a visit to DPS and this was in the area. PHENOMENAL!!!!! Blew my brains out. Shattered my perception of a “good taco”. I would drive days and days to take a single bite of the barbacoa tacos again. So moist. So delectable. Dissolved in my mouth. Yum yum yum. Highly recommend.”
“Went to dust bowl for fish and chips and it the best fish around here. The waitress made a mistake. She apologized and I told her no problem we all make mistakes. I love eating fish and chips at the fish bowl. Thanks so much for everything.”
“Nice little place in Dalhart, TX. The food is hot and fresh and tasty, although I would say that meat needs some more seasoning in my opinion. The tortillas are fresh, the salsa is made in house, and they will grate fresh cheese on your chips...a nice tasty touch. Our service was good even though it was very busy...seems like the town loves this little place.”
“The gem of Dalhart for authentic Mexican food. This little place has quickly become our favorite in town for lunch or dinner. Unique fresh made salsas, friendly service, clean dining area... oh and, did I mention, their corn tortillas are made in house fresh and are phenomenal...we always order a few extra.Fajitas=delicious[Guera means white girl...it's this white girl's favorite place in Dalhart]”
“We had the carnitas, barbacoa, and al pastor tacos and they were fantastic! The staff was super sweet and we did not wait long for our food. They also have a few Mexican snacks candies and drinks for sale which I appreciated. Would definitely eat here ”
“While dealing w a vehicle break down and stranded in Dalhart 7hrs from home, 2 different people we met recommended our family have dinner at La Pasadita...The food and staff were great! Somehow our waitress knew of our predicament and insisted on giving us a discount. While spending a day in Dalhart we met nothing but good, kind, generous quality people. Yall represent your town very well and we very much appreciate you!”
“We ate at the bar and were given prompt attention. I had the brisket tacos. They were pretty good. The bar tender though knew to just look over and not really interrupt the conversation and when something needed attention would just take care of it.”
“This place was so delicious!!! The flavor was amazing. Ordering drinks was a little slow but one guy was doing a lot. I don't understand Dalhart and the fee to have alcohol drinks but this place offers a membership. Alcohol Drinks were $10 beers were $3. It cost $100 for 3 of us but we had drinks.”
“The cafe de olla is delicious and a heartwarming touch on the menu. We stopped by for breakfast while on a road trip. We had huevos rancheros and huevos con chorizo. It was delicious, and satisfying. The service was welcoming, friendly and personal.”
“Great and delicious food. If you are passing by and you are tired of sandwiches and pizza, this place is great for you. My husband and I tried this place for the first time, and we ended loving it.”
“Stopped here on my way back home. Had the Chicken Fried Steak sandwich. It was excellent. Busy and good local spot. Hope to stop again whenever I am in Dalhart.”
