I've been just about everywhere in Dallas. Few provide the balance of ambiance, service, and outstanding food. Homewood is a winner in all regards. The bread as others have attested is ridiculous. The pork chop and pasta we split was impeccably prepared and absolutely delicious. Interior dining space is cozy and cute. There's a large bar area to sit at and also another high top bar with stools that overlooks a prep area. We ordered tuna tartare to start and it was fantastic, super fresh and it was served with pistachio, and a combo libation of minced ginger and apple. The garlic focaccia was extremely good as was the cultured butter it was served with. Pasta was good, unique dishes that were full of flavor. Incredible Christmas Eve dinner here for our first visit to Homewood. Generous quantities, perfect cook, unique flavors. Menu rotates constantly so it’s truly farm to table. Restaurant feels so homey and connected with a fully exposed kitchen and a ton of fun seating options.
