PROs: Old but quaint place, decor is chic. Hostess and customer service is excellent. Food is good quality and attn to detail was noticeable. Mini muffins were served as appetizers but not sure if they were GF and I failed to ask.CONs: No designated parking for the restaurant, it's a hassle to find one up close during busy hours.We ordered: Healthy Hippie, American Breakfast omelet, and a decaf latte. Vanessa, waitress at the time, was in training and did just fine.
One of my clients came back from lunch at Chestnut Tree and was just glowing about the food there, so we decided to try it out for ourselves. The service was outstanding, really extraordinarily friendly and fast. My vegan meal was excellent and I especially appreciate that the server took pains to make sure that the potatoes were vegan. I ordered the quiche. It was less than stellar. The only thing I could taste was chives. There was no depth of flavor. No ham or cheese was evident, either. Would not order again, nor would I recommend.
