“Just moved to denton cane here today looking for fried shrimp and let me tell you excellent flavor shrimp was fried perfect and the customer service was top notch. Don't know how long I will be here for work but definitely will be going back to visit them.“
“Wish I had visited sooner. I knew it had opened but not visiting that part of Denton frequently I soon forgot about. Fast forward a number of months and I finally thought of it and, oh man, I could kick myself. Good food, cold drinks, and live music. Couldn't ask for anything else!“
“They are doing it right! I've had true Cajun from living in Louisiana and this food takes me back. Have the Cajun Special or the French Quarter plate to get a real taste and variety. Had beignets as well and it wasn't till then I pulled my head out of my plate enough to take a picture! Packed house, great service from manager Jessica and happy atmosphere. I'll be sad if they don't expand to a larger location soon. Will be back again!“
“Small neighborhood spot in strip mall. It would be easy to pass by, but the ceviche-OMG-so good! It was so fresh-the best I've had since leaving the Houston area 7 years ago! Staff was very pleasant. The young woman who waited on me was so personable and helpful when I told her it was my first time there. I don't live near this neighborhood-about 20 minutes away, but this spot will be worth the trip for their awesome service and ceviche!“
“This is my favorite place in denton. Not even restaurant, PLACE! The staff is so friendly and the food is incredible as well as affordable. For the quality of the food, the prices should be so much higher than they are. I’ve been going to eat there pretty regularly since around 2020 and I’ve never been disappointed. The service is quick that we are usually in and out of there in 30-45 minutes when it isn’t super busy. Also, the space is small, so when they are busy it can be a bit crowded, but it’s so worth it.“
“Love getting my food and going to the front patio under the Texas sky on a Sunday.Mexican Shrimp cocktail is huge, a full meal, super flavorful.I like to try everything so I get combo baskets...this place is as good as any gulf side restaurant hands down.“
“Ordered delivery almost all of my food arrived small items missing. Was told store would redeliver missing items yeah its been an hour or so. Food is good, as I lived in NYC for 3 years it's very close to to NYC pizza didn't expect that here in Texas.“
“The atmosphere and service was nice. The food was excellent as well on a whole. Took my daughter there for dinner and we had fried oysters, and garlic noodles to start. They oysters were excellent, but the noodles could have had more flavor. For the main course we got a special which included two clusters of snow crabs, headless shrimp, a half pound of crawfish, and corn and sausage. We got the supreme sauce which was pretty tasty. All that with a couple of drinks came up to 116. I would definitely eat here again ?“
“My 2nd visit. Ordered the garlic butter shrimp with double salad with ginger dressing. The shimp was very good and fried well. The salad was ok. It's just lettuce, a couple of cucumber slices, some carrots, and cranberries. The ginger dressing was ok. On my first visit, I had the coconut shrimp, buttered rice, and a salad with poppyseed dressing. The rice was ok, a bit bland for my taste. The poppyseed vinaigrette was so much better than the ginger dressing, IMO. I did like the coconut shrimp as well. The restaurant was clean. The men's bathroom hot water needs to be fixed. The staff was very friendly. I really wished they had better options for sugar-free drinks. Coke Zero and unsweet tea are your only options. Like I said, this was my 2nd visit, and I am definitely coming back.“
