“Writing this review after a mixed experience. The waitress seemed annoyed at us the entire time we were there. I never once got a refill and our party had two tables and we were only given one basket of chips to share between 7 people. My sister had to ask another waitress to accommodate but she eventually did bring them.The food was okay but not as good as it has been in the past. My sister loved her burrito.When we checked out I was confused by the price of the ticket and I acted like a jerk about it. I tried to call and apologize but the waitress on the phone didn't speak English.I do sincerely apologize for being rude.”

“I was traveling so I stopped for a drink and to answer some texts. I put my order in through the app.I'm not sure what prompted it but a young woman with a beautiful smile came out and asked if I was okay. She looked very concerned. I told her that I had just done an app order because I wasn't sure about their "happy hour" times and that I was fine. I let her know how much appreciated her for checking on me since I was traveling alone.She brought my drink out and never stopped smiling. I felt safe there so I sat for a few minutes with my drink before getting back on the road.I would DEFINITELY recommend this Sonic!!”

“The cookie was okay. I ordered a cookie dough but it lacked chucks of cookie dough. We walked in and there were 3 workers who looked at us and spoke not a word. Perhaps they were made at each other. They spoke not a word to each other or us. Very awkward.”

“Maybe I'm biased, but working on the ILS/radios here over the years, I have never had a bad experience at the cafe! Lunch at the airport is what I always look forward to when heading to Lufkin! Fries & the Jr burger are enough to fill an adult up. A full size burger might leave you feeling woozy, like you ate too much! ;) Don't say I didn't warn you! I've brought my family here a couple times when the kids were still young enough to enjoy visiting the nearby Lufkin Zoo (another hidden gem).”

“We came on a Sunday during lunch time and were seated right away, our waitress was pretty nice. The rolls were pretty solid, I'd say a 4/5. The skillet cornbread was a little on the dry side and I feel like the cinnamon butter was giving it an odd taste so I'd have to give it 3/5. The chicken fried chicken with garlic mash potatoes and jalapeño gravy was pretty good, but the chicken fried chicken was quite thin so I'd give it a 4/5. Lastly the Dr. Pepper chocolate cake was so good especially with the strawberries, 4.5/5! I would recommend and will be back!”

“I love this place miss wendi is not just the owner but the cook, and bar tender as well as waitress she's truly amazing.she makes they best bacon cheeseburger I've ever had. If you like burgers I suggest you try miss wendi's you'll never eat any other burger again.”

“Eat here a few weeks back while on a business trip. It was recommended for the best steak around. When I arrived I was promptly greeted and sat with my drink order taken. I am a ribeye steak guy but the fillet was recommended by several that I worked with. I had a salad with the blue cheese dressing, potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and the best tasting steak I’ve ever had. The house style 8oz. fillet. It was phenomenal. Definitely recommend and will return should I visit this area again.”

They have so many unique flavors, there's no way I can try all the ice creams. And that's not the only kind of dessert and foods that they have. “From Houston here for work…super picky about so many things. Especially about charbroiled oysters and crawfish. Just floored at the service and food. I have to be honest, from FL, live in The Woodlands, total foodie, generous in my opinion rarely. Holy cow! The charbroiled oysters are Dragos plus…charred bread Dragos plus! Then I had to be talked into crawfish because my friends and I have tried most to only be disappointed. Our place in Houston….people drive 50 miles to get to. But!! Being here tonight with two Louisiana peeps…they were pushing for crawfish..we started with 3 lbs then after tasting and devouring, ordered another 3 lbs. you guys so surpassed any doubting minds. You must visit these guys, ask for extra wet and dredge them through the boil!!! I’m sorry I didn’t get more pics…this was our fourth order after I had washed my hands. lol”
