I've seen a lot of hype for Doña Chicharrón but unfortunately...it definitely didn't live up to it.If there's one word to summarize my experience...it's blandness. I always see Doña cooking the carnitas and chicharrones in the AM I believe. So if you arrive at midday... they've been sitting under a heat lamp for a few hours already. Food was delicious. I ordered tacos de harina the carnitas a la Mexicana with a lemonade. The salsas where good and frijoles where tasty. Our server was polite and knowledgeable. The manager/owner was really nice and gave us samples of their chicharrones and we ordered some of there sugar donuts to go. Music really set the tone and the inside was really clean. Highly recommend this location.
