Three different restaurants to choose from (Pizza Hut, a burger joint and Dickies BBQ). We choose Pizza Hut for their combo deal starting @ $10 (mini pizza, drink and breadsticks) and Dickies for an ultimate baked potato. With additional drinks it was about 42 dollars. We would probably would spent the same amount if we have gone out in town for lunch.

Somehow, eating BBQ in a western themed area just tastes better! There are three different service areas but one common seating area. There is also an outside seating area. The prices were affordable and the quality of the food was the same that you would get at the offsite locations.

I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and macaroni. The pork was dry and also had a gritty texture and that is so weird and crazy because I have NEVER ate pulled pork that had a texture like that. It was definitely not something I would eat and threw it out. The Macaroni was ok. The cashier was not friendly and walked around to go get a manager she literally was shuffling her feet moving as slow as she could and she was the only cashier. She was rude and had the attitude she didn't want to be there. Hope they can iron out the details. I will try this again and give them another chance and hope they have improved because we all know zoo food is not cheap.

Food is no the big thing..so EXPENSIVE! You pay for a Drink ... about $3.50 if you need refills ..you need to pay $1.35 every single time you get it...that's no good.. because the price.Aldo, cashier man..I felt he was so rude..I didn't like him.Next tome for sure..if I visit the Zoo..NEVER come back to the BLUEBONETT food area. Horrible experience.

As far as a zoo Cafe goes, this one wasn't too bad. At least all three sub businesses were open. I recommend the Pizza Hut value meal, cheap and easy. And quick. The seating inside of it is ample, however it is noisy, and they need to turn on the AC. I don't like sweating while I eat.I would recommend sitting outside as pictured. As long as there is a slight breeze, the shade of the trees makes it a very enjoyable and resting experience.

This food was absolutely horrible. I usually won't give a bad review. I just won't go back. But, 6 of us ate Dickies bbq and we all got sick. Never eat there.

Their BBQ is good stuff. Grab the pulled pork and one of their excellent salads and a side water. Perfect mix.
