Since Darden bought Cheddar's, the food quality has gone down the drain. Their corporate management team has sucked the life out of a once great restaurant chain.I've been a Cheddar's loyalist for over 30 years. Not anymore! It was tastless and bland. The store was, justifiably, empty. I blame it on the food. The server was great, as was the manager who had the displeasure of hearing me air my grievances. Food and service was mediocre. Had to go to the bar to finally get my water refilled. Our waiter only came to tables to place the orders and drop off food. We went mid-afternoon on Easter, but not busy. I ordered the creamy tilapia and shrimp dish, husband ordered the chicken pot pie. So-so. We won’t be back.

It was difficult to enjoy the dining experience because an individual from the kitchen staff was in the dining area arguing with his girlfriend in front of several patrons. The waitress was distracted by this which contributed to the experience negatively. Very unprofessional. I was truly disappointed since the food was actually good but I was ready to leave because of the situation..
