I am giving this CE a "2" because the young staff was so sweet. HOWEVER, the chicken was not that fresh: hot yes, but the batter seemed dry and a couple of hours old. And the drinks suck!!!! There was no ice in the self-serve machine. The Coca-Cola was flat and the unsweet tea had a hint of being sweet...,like they switched the containers from the day before or something. This restaurant location on North Beach, near North Tarrant Pkwy has really gone down hill. The prices have increased, but the food and service are not good anymore. I have gone to this location since it opened, but over the last year the food is not as fresh and you get less of it for a higher price. This chicken express used to be one of the best around but has gone downhill in the last 6-9 months. Chicken now tasts old instead of fresh, tea tastes dirty like the Brewer is not being cleaned regularly/properly, orders through drive thru are often wrong having the wrong or missing sides. The best chicken express around is on 377 near 820. This Beach location needs to be retrained to operate like the 377 location.
