It was national cheeseburger day, so I decided to take my wife out to Fred's Texas Cafe.I am embarrassed to say I was born and raised in Fort Worth and have never eaten a burger at Fred's! We learned what we have been missing!It opened in 1976, one year before I was born, and in those 45 years, they have most definitely learned how to make the best hamburger in Fort Worth! I had the Diablo burger, it was the perfect amount of spicy, and we had it Fred sized for 3 dollars more!...read full review
Great restaurant with absolutely great outdoor seating.We had a four generations birthday party at lunch today with 15 people.The food was great, the server did great, the music was not too loud.Parking was available - just do NOT make the mistake of parking in the gated parking garage. That could cost you $20.

OVERRATED! This place isn't better than anywhere else. The fries were a step-up from In-N-Out burger but nothing great. The chicken fried steak should be removed from the menu and nachos should be brought back in its place. Service was good and I would recommend the fried pickles and salad. I know alot of people love this place, but I have to be truthful with my review.
