The food was great and the food service side they were friendly and nice. However the bar drinks were good but the servers owners whoever they were not friendly or welcoming at all.
My wife and I were attending an event at the convention center, and after some fast searching we realized that this place was close by. Contrary to some of the reviews, first and foremost this is a bar. It's got a very "neighborhood bar" vibe, which I liked, and the music was very in line with my tastes. In fact, two of my favorite songs played back to back as soon as we sat down. It was decent BBQ but when you go to TX, you expect to have amazing food and I can't say that I was blown away. It was B- brisket. Lots of fat and chewy pieces. Server was very nice but they were slow to help or recognize I was customer waiting there. I went there because it was open and I thought bbq was a safe option. Didn't hate it and didn't love it.
