Me and my family were looking for Italian restaurants since we didn’t want some generic Olive Garden. We found this Italian place online and decided to try it. We didn’t even make it through the door because when we arrived there were two signs that said closed so we bagan walking back to our vehicles. As we were walking back a lady opened the doors to the restaurant and with a very snarky attitude she said “ Are yall coming in it says open” we looked at the signs and NOW it said open. We then decided to give them a second chance. Our party of 7 sat down and we heard her whispering behind the bar about us. We all got up and left. I can’t knock the food but in my opinion the food is only as good as the service.

Absolutely love the location and atmosphere. It is very unlike a chain restaurant and SO quiet. Chain restaurants are always so loud. Food was good. Service was very good. I wish I’d gotten the waiter’s name. He did a great job and even brought me a surprise piece of tiramisu with a birthday candle after noticing the birthday card I was given during dinner. Pricing was reasonable and actually lower than I expected for this type of restaurant. We will definitely be back and will recommend Macaluso’s to our friends.

Subpar food and abhorrent service. Waiter initially approached table with an attitude and it went downhill from there. My dinner was lukewarm when it arrived. Waiter never checked back until the 3 other ladies I was dining with were almost done. And then when he asked if everything was all right, he never stopped for an answer. I had to shout to get him to come back. Then he chastised me for yelling at him!Manager was requested. He came out and once it was explained to him, he said he'd "take care of it". I was charged $30 for inedible food, no drink refills and an abundance of aggravation. One of the purposes of our visit was to check out the place for our monthly ladies luncheon. Needless to say, definitely won't be back.

I've been here once before, but can't remember what my opinion was then. This time, very very satisfied. I had a rack of lamb. A lot of meat and spoon- tender. And the pink cooking I ordered was exactly what I got. Great sauce and good pasta. I do recommend this choice. My friends had meatballs, lasagne and chicken picata. Now, I knew the owners knew my friends who go there regularly. Still their friendlyness and handling of the whole two hour meal was flawless. From the starters with caesars salad, snails through to the cheesecake and tiramisu. So complaints? No, not really. Fairly priced too. And being an Italian restaurant you have to accept either Peroni or Stella Artois. I would of course like a wide selection.

This place is awesome. We tried some seafood dishes and veal everything was fresh and sauce that comes with the clams is the best. Our waiter was pretty cool too
Wow! I had a fantastic experience at Macaluso's, and I will certainly be back. I have lived in the area for years now and never known about this restaurant. The service was great, food was amazing, and prices are good! I had mozzarella sticks (given to us on the house) complimentary bread, and lasagna. The bread was perfectly warm and honestly to die for, I could have eaten a whole loaf. I would also highly recommend the lasagna as an entree, it was cheesy, and delicious. The waitress helped me choose what to eat, and she chose right! Everything was amazing - thank you!!

Oh this place is my wife's favorite as well as mine too. They make her special dinner plate that no other place has yet to make her. You will not be disappointed eating here.
My mom, daughter, & I came here for the first time (my Mom’s 2nd) and we had a terrible experience. The service was fine but the food was awful I ordered the lasagna I believe I was given the wrong order ( it didn’t taste remotely close to lasagna) my daughter & I originally ordered lobster ravioli only to be informed that you were out so she chose spinach ravioli again mediocre, my mom had shrimp scampi and was also disappointed she said the tails were on and it was crunchy. Needless to say we will not return.

Service was good, it's got a great feel to the place. The food is nothing to write home about. Very basic Italian food. I think I expected a little more gourmet. We ordered a bottle of wine that costed $35 yet I saw the exact same bottle at Albertson's for $15. That's a huge mark up!! Maybe if my MIL wasn't Italian I wouldn't be so hard (my husband is adopted), her food is all made from scratch even her pasta. I think we were hoping for more of that home cooked authentic Italian food.
