Definitely a family ambiance. Great place to relax and enjoy a nice glass of wine. When you see that the owner herself is around and checking on her customers, that’s a good sign of quality.A few suggestions:Go easy on the dressing on the house/featured salad … great taste though.(Not critical) Most servers, if not all, are wearing a uniform, which makes this little restaurant feel special, but one did not… I’m sure he can do it next time ?.Kudos! Well done ?

Out the gate the service was well above standard, from the host to my server Jan(pronounced Yan), I felt like I’d been invited as a personal guest of the owner. I will say for my first time experience, my Server(Jan) was extremely patient with me and my indecisive appetite, he was also well read/informed on the menu. he seemed quite rehearsed and refined in his personal recommendations, it was refreshing. It made ordering my dinner simple and so far I have yet to be disappointed.(except for the complimentary bread, it was dull and tasted store bought/premade(old).So far I’ve tried a glass of Red( Chianti, DOCG, Caposaldo, Tuscany, Italy,2020), recommendation from the Server( the bread(1st round/ ?) and the Toasted Ravioli(Savory, 5/5 recommend) It had been a real experience, I will say the atmosphere is nice but the music kind of borders between family restaurant and a 60s Diner) just a little less taste of Italy, still it’s nothing you can’t enjoy while you munch on your meal.I’m currently on my first entree, and it looks fantastic. The pork tenderloin was the first of my a Plate Recommendations from Jan. The flavors were delicate and the veggies were blended beautifully with the magic of the dish. I really enjoyed the sauce they used and didn’t overwhelm the natural flavors of the meat. The dish was delectable and soft (like the smell of leftover cologne); you kept trying to take a deeper breath (Bigger bite) to chase the flavor and keep it on your tongue. It was 5/5 Delicious. My server has been fantastic. I let him know that the only thing I’ve been disappointed in so far this meal was the bread and he told me he could fix that. We shall see what he’s cooking up, on to my next entree. The second round of bread was substantially better than the first after I let him know my concerns. If this is the typical house standard, then I feel confident in stating; you will be satisfied on your visit. My second entree has arrived and all I can say is that I am a very happy camper. This was a great choice by Jan. I am extremely satisfied with the parings, I’m Drinking “Viognier, LenParadou, Mediterranee, France 2021” with the Chicken Genoviz my meal was exceptional and I don’t think I’ve been this satisfied with an eating experience since Table 26All in all, I give my experience at Oliva a 5/5. The food and service were above and beyond my expectations. I look forward to a new list of recommendations from Jan on my next visit.

The atmosphere and service was great. The food gets a C+, here is why. Olivia seafood pasta was bland. Mushroom ravioli was one tone and should have been paired with something like arugula/pine nuts/pear/balsamic for contrast, chicken Parmesan was the best but the sauce needed more sugar to balance out the acid. Italian cooking is about balance, and, although this was acceptable with a bit more care, and, very little effort, it could be fabulous.

This is my first time here, and it was delightful! The double cheese garlic bread appetizer was incredible!I ordered the eggplant parmesan, which was about $14, and it was a generous serving; it was much more than typical. It was done perfectly and incredibly tasty. The service was excellent!Vegetarian options: The eggplant parmesan was delicious!

The best service we’ve had at a restaurant in years! They have delicious food, generous portions, friendly atmosphere, and an incredible wait staff.Kid-friendliness: They had plenty of delicious and reasonably priced food options on the children’s menu as well as they had both booster seats and high chairs!

Holy cow. Some of the most INCREDIBLE Italian food I’ve ever had. Before even taking a bite of the food, I was taken aback by the service. You don’t just have one server - the whole waiting staff works as a TEAM! Each of them have their role and each touch the table. I’ve never experienced anything like it. The food was excellent. My very picky grandmother in law demanded her son take her back! We will be coming back again and again. Also - Cynthia, the owner, is out on the floor with her staff working hard. You wouldn’t even know she’s the owner! So hands on. Thank y’all so much.

Super cute place! The atmosphere is very much a "grandmas living room" vibe with lots of old school pictures, books, and games. The restaurant itself isn't big at all, but it makes for a cozy feel. The service is the best. From the hello to the goodbye, everyone was so sweet and accommodating. I was craving the classic Italian dish Cacio e pepe, but they didn't have it on the menu. The waiter still offered to "try" to make, which is incredibly accommodating, but if it's not on the menu, then I don't want to be a burden. We ordered the Linguini Carciofi and Fettuccine Con Salsiccia, and both were wonderful.?? The ingredients tasted fresh and were not overly saucy. I would highly recommend it and I am sure we will be back! ?
