Pappadeaux is our go to most of the time we passed through Texas. Tonight our dining experience wasn't up to par. From start to finish, it was one thing after another (received incorrect drink and entree). I wasn't planning on saying anything to management, but when we received our check, the entree we received wasn't corrected. Needless to say, that's when I decided that management needs to know about the our experience. They can't fix the issue(s) if they are not aware of it. Before talking to management, I was upset enough and wasn't planning on returning to this particular location. The manager, Collin, whom we dealt with, didn't like what we had to say. By the end of the conversation, we told him we'll be back next time we're in town. Not bc Collin comped our meal, bc that's not our intention. But bc how passionate he felt about the mission of the restaurant and invited us back and give them another try.

Man, this is my favorite spots to visit while I'm in town. Great food, drinks, and service. No complaints.Food: I had the seafood and sauce gumbo. It was very flavorful. The only thing I didn't care for were the big pieces of okra. Other than that, delish. 9 out of 10.The crawfish and shrimp fondeaux were ok. I'll give it a 6 of 10. I'm not sure if they changed the recipe, but it reminded me of cream of shrimp or something like that.Drinks: I had the Grand Hennessey, and it was delicious. The Peavh sidecar martini is strong and delicious. Both drinks receive a 10 of 10.Service: Very good. 10 of 10

Update: Visit 3/9/24:We had a fantastic experience with Cameron as our server on 3/9/23. We were a large group of 12 and she was amazing! We never lacked drink refills. She was kind, responsive and super helpful. Cameron went above and beyond to make our dinner smooth and special.Also, Jazmine was our host and she was also wonderful. While we had to wait longer than I would have liked with a reservation, she made sure that we got our table as quickly as possible. She was kind despite me asking for updates.Overall, I am very impressed with this location!------------Just left and we had a phenomenal experience! Bari was our server and she was AH-MAZING!! We had a party of 7 and she handled us so easily. She was so kinda and attentive. We never had to ask for anything. She made our experience so wonderful. Food was amazing and dessert was even better. We will definitely be back! I just can't brag about Bari enough.

That place is so overpriced it is just ridiculous. The service was fantastic, but the food was way overpriced, and the portions and presentation subpar. I'm very disappointed.
