Our waitress was great but she seemed to be covering every table on a Thursday night which was a bit much with folks standing around in the kitchen. Look forward to that being more balanced in the future.
this place is delicious! super kind staff and food totally awesome. I had the ‘ate’ layer burrito and my husband (who isnt typically ‘fond’ of vegan fare) had the kahuna burger- we both ate every bit of food on our plates…and our daughter could have eaten 5 orders of the home fries…. fun desserts also and cool laid back atmosphere. def will come again next time we are in town! thanks, Spiral!Kid-friendliness: really accomodating when my daughter wanted all her salad toppings seperated on a second plate! ha!

It makes me sad to post this review. The fact that it's taken more than 6 months to write out my horrible last experience speaks volumes. I used to eat at this restaurant multiple times a month... for years. Unfortunately, things have really gone downhill in the past couple years. Service has problems, prices don't always reflect food quality.The real issue is the food poisoning. Yes, 3rd strike with food poisoning from this place & we are out - for good. First incident was my daughter, on September 23, 2022 - chalked it up to maybe a stomach bug. Next incident was me on November 1, 2022. I left a review after this awful experience & they apologized, refunded me (only for the item in question, not the whole ticket), & mailed me a $20 gift card to entice me back. I did try to use it on a pick up order, but that didn't work so had to use it to dine in. The final straw was dinner on September 24, 2023.Before this awful experience, I had not vomited in 26 *years.* Yes, you read that correctly. Each of the above food poisoning incidents involved their most popular dish (& my former fave) - the Nacho Supremo. Buyer beware. Multiple weeks of having to recover from intense intestinal pain & extreme digestive upset. Like, food poisoning isn't just a couple hours - it can take weeks & months for a digestive system to fully settle and recover back to normal. Such was the case with my experience last September.Sorry, Spiral. I gave you a ton of 2nd chances but this last incident did me in. Even an apology & gift card can't entice me back this round. BUT, for the love of god, please check your food handling processes for every Nacho Supremo ingredient, because something is going terribly wrong & causing customers to be poisoned... multiple times. PS, before the last 2 years, we successfully ate Nacho Supremo plates dozens if not 100 times. We aren't allergic to any of it. It's your food handling/storage practices. Guaranteed. While at it, check the ice machine & dishwashers, too. Please... don't poison your customers & get the Fort Worth location shut down, too. Thank you.I'm truly sad. :( I do miss the Spiral Burger & the funky vibe. Miss 30 minute drives to Fort Worth for some vegan fun. It's lonely without them, but I just can't risk having my week & month ruined again by a spoiled Nacho Supremo plate (esp to the tune of $15.59 pre-tax).Good luck, Spiral. I had the baked potato grilled cheese, side of pasta salad and broccoli with some ranch. It was alllll delicious, I can’t recommend the baked potato grilled cheese enough! And I’m currently plotting on how to get their pasta salad recipe because it was choice. Will be back!Vegetarian options: This restaurant is all vegan so plenty of diverse vegetarian options in the “comfort food” category.Parking: Parking is down the street from the entrance. There are signs posted for a couple of different parking lots that it’s for this restaurant and a couple others.

Kid-friendliness: Differently acknowledge your presence as soon as possible ?
Too long of a wait even for a to go order. For a place that has plenty of seating but ? not enough staff. The music and atmosphere was great but we decided to do a to go order because of the wait. Even when you were seated you were waiting another 20-30 minutes for a waitress to come take your order. No thanks. The shakes are supposed to be lactose free but they did not do well with our stomachs, too over priced for the hype. Save your money and time and just do it yourself.Parking: Look around for a spot to park
I got in on 3/28 at 1:38pm. Short wait to be seated bc there were like 4 tables. The girl waitress took my order and bounced. I never saw her again. They refilled my water while I waited until 2:40 bc I’m an obviously a psycho for giving them another chance. No one else checked on me, and my food never came. At this point it was obvious they forgot. I got up to leave. I told the person at the counter so they don’t think I walked. All she said was “I’m so sorry”. Like there were only a few tables and you didn’t think to check or even notice I NEVER got my food? The sorry was legitimately not good enough.At this point I was shaking bc I was starving and pissed off. You guys should be ashamed to be gouging people at the price for the awful service you give. I’ve tolerated the 30-40 wait before but it just seemed like this time they didn’t even bothered to put in my order. ? Don't come here. I know their food is good but you’re only perpetuating the disrespect to their customers. I hope this location closes down too.

The best cake I’ve EVER had! Spiral really knocked it out of the park on this one. The cake is moist, decadent, and the perfect balance of icing to cake. We had a 6in Napoleon, and I’ve never had a better vegan cake in my life. There are others who claim to have excellent cakes and cupcakes, but they could never amount to Spiral Bakery. I’m counting down to my next birthday cake!Dietary restrictions: It’s a vegan restaurant where we can eat safely and not be troubled.

You can't go wrong here! The supreme nachos are always a special treat and we devoured them. We also tried the Ramsey's Perfect Protein Platter which was delicious! Instead of getting something from the bakery this time to take home, we decided to go try Spirals new dessert place called Dreamboat. The short walk from the diner was nice and the offerings at Dreamboat were amazing! I had the oatmilk vanilla soft serve and we got a maple donut to go. Since we dined at Spiral Diner first, we brought our paper receipt to Dreamboat and we got the soft serve for free! I can't wait to go back to both the diner and the Dreamboat. I hope they start selling soft serve in small containers soon. I need more of it in my life!!

The food is okay but Waaay overpriced. The spiral big stack comes with one patty cut in half not two. Crazy for the price. What really bugs me is the fake ethics of this establishment. They decided to invest in another building in Fort Worth then subsequently shut down Dallas and Denton without notice to employees when they knew they were closing the doors for weeks. Imagine going to your job to find the doors locked. People can hardly afford grocerys and to do that to servers who rely on tips to eat is monstrous. I don’t have much to spend on a night out but I promise when I do it will never be spiral again. Shame on you guys for having so little faith and respect for the people you hired.
