“We were amazed at finding such an amazing restaurant on our way home to east Texas. The restaurant, even bathroom was spotless. The owner greeted us and started our order. Waitresses were also great. We had the fish special. Absolutely delicious meal, at a good price. We will be sure to stop when we go through again.”
“You don't have many choices to eat in Freer, so it is fortunate that the town sports one of the great, locally owned cafes in Texas. "Ya Ya's" homestyle burgers is one great burgers as are the fresh peeled and sliced fries (ask for them instead of the frozen fries). That is what I get every visit on my way to Houston or Laredo. But the working class ranch hands and oil field workers order the Mexican dishes most often. Great place to stop on HWY 59!”
“I don’t often eat at Dairy Queen I was just passing through. I’m glad I did, the best chicken sandwich I have ever had. The restaurant was clean the food was hot the service was amazing if you’re happen to be passing through this area definitely recommend this ”
“I really enjoyed this place. I'm sure everyone knows the saying, "It's the little out of the way places that are the best", well that fits this place. The food was great, the prices were comfortable and the staff was friendly. Try it out and see if you don't agree! I liked it!”
