“Always a great experience. The staff is exceptional—efficient and attentive, even when I'm just picking up my order. I visit every Friday after work for a takeaway dinner and am consistently impressed by how quickly they prepare my meal. Despite never dining in, the vibrant atmosphere and the bustling bar full of satisfied customers are hard to miss. The food is worth the drive across the island from the Humane Society where I work, back home across the causeway. It's my go-to spot for Friday dinners, and I highly recommend it!“
“The waitress Jackie was AMAZING! She was on top of everything! Honestly some of the best catfish I've ever had. The fries were seasoned to perfection, and the tarter cause was OUT OF THIS WORLD! If I could give it more stars, I would.Parking: The parking is right outside so it's the perfect distanceKid-friendliness: The atmosphere is just super welcoming“
“Small but delicious pizzeria with extremely nice people in service. This is not for a fancy meal, but for the classic pizza to start the rest of the evening. Inexpensive and yet very tasty. But be careful: as is usual in the area, the portions are quite generous! My tip is the calzone.Dietary restrictions: There is also gluten-free pizzaWheelchair accessibility: No problem over a ramp“
“After two days of failed attempts to find a "good" restaurant in Galveston, I stumbled on a gold mine. Really, really good food. Excellent unpretentious wait staff, fresh food and ingredients, a stellar wine list, wrapped in a 1940s dinner club atmosphere. Transport yourself to a finer time in a quality restaurant and at discounted prices! An exceptional experience. Ask for Liz. She went above and beyond!“
“Nice place with a fun vibe. Happened to be in Galveston for awhile and stumbled upon this place because of them having an open mic night which was really fun and quite good. part of what i really enjoyed about Galveston. Ill defiantly come back next time im in Galveston.“
“There is no better value especially in Galveston Texas, this is the buffet with the best spaghetti on earth. Pizza, salad, different foods on the buffet everyday dessert even includes an iced tea for around $15 and change and the best service they come around and refill your drink whatever you need this is just like “
“I can in at 8 pm, an hour before closing and the employees were very patient and attentive. I always love coming for the fish tacos. This time I got the pepperoni pizza and added jalapeños and pineapple to it. I couldn’t have prepared for how much pineapple there would be on it. I’ll probably stay away from pineapple pizza from now on.“
“I order from Gino's all the time the food is always very good I just feel bad cause I had to cancel my last order due to a emergency that came up but I'm definitely going to go back time after Time you're missing out if you never had there try it they are really “
“Do you want to be to transported to little Italy after a long day trudging the sands? This is your place. We asked a local guide where the best place to get pizza on Galveston was and “Russo’s” was the immediate answer. We ordered the Halal Veggie Pepperoni that afternoon. We arrived a little early and the friendly staff told me it would be a few minutes. While I waited, I was tempted by the delicious array of Italian desserts so I decided to get tiramisu and chocolate cake as well. While I waited, I noticed how warm and inviting the ambience was. I regretted not making time to order and eat AT the restaurant because it seemed like it would be a cozy and fun experience. When we got back to the resort and tried the pizza, we were blown away. It was just so good. The pizza was cooked perfectly, the crust was delicious, the sauce, cheese, and toppings were all wonderful. The tiramisu was excellent. My biggest qualm is that Russos appears to be a Houston thing, so we won’t get to have any back home. Can’t wait to come back!“
“My love and I were in Galveston for a weekend getaway and Mardi Gras. Stopped into this veteran owned and operated gem. The Margarita pizza was delicious. Beer was cold. Only con I have is no beer on tap and it’s a small venue. Other than that AMAZING!! I will definitely be back.“
“We came in as a party of four at 8:30 PM on a Thursday evening. They have a bunch of Galveston Marti Gras posters all over their walls-it was one of the first things we noticed coming in. We are not from Galveston ourselves, but we enjoyed looking at it while we were here. I ordered a Don Quixote Ranch water with half Sotol, half ghost tequila-this came with a nice kick but wasn't too spicy. They have hidden treasures behind their bar-I saw a stuffed cheetah and a rubber marti gras duck while examining their tequilas! We decided to do a pour of Don Julio Primavera as well. While it was pricey, it was worth the cost! We appreciated that they provided a lot of different types of tequila with a wide range of flavors. This is a very cool spot.“
“I've been going to Mario's Seawall restaurant since I moved to Galveston in 2012. Great food, good range in prices, affordable wine list, cheery staff. It's less than a quarter mile from my condo.Parking: Only one handicap space.“
