“Everything was great. I rated a 4 stars merley because I frequent this establishment and although I receive great service I feel that the exceptional service provided today due to a contest should ensue outside of the staff gaining from it. However, I am never really disappointed when I eat here and if my kids love it I love it. Nick was attentive and personable. I’ll give him a 50. He was cool and energetic. Great seats although busy. Thank you Saltgrass and Nick!!!!“

“We stayed in Galveston to celebrate an anniversary and wanted steak. Our hotel concierge recommended trying this place, so we gave it a go.We didn't realize it was so nice, but no one seemed to care that we were in jeans and T-shirts. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating! They were attentive and also didn't rush us, even though we arrived quite late.The atmosphere as far as the decor, noise level, music, and scenery was fantastic. The food was to die for! Be prepared to drop a wad of cash, but we thought it was so worth it. Our steak melted in our mouths!Our waitress understood that we were pleasantly full, but insisted on bringing out an anniversary dessert for us, which was so sweet of her--and it tasted amazing! This impromptu visit exceeded our expectations and made our anniversary that much better. Thank you for an enjoyable evening!“
“We recently stayed for 3 weeks in Galveston and experienced several restaurants. The meal we had here was by far the best we had. Food was interesting and beautifully presented, and service was top notch without being stuffy. We had 2 fish dishes, delicious creamed corn, split a wedge salad and the chocolate dome dessert. Too much food, to be honest. But a wonderful experience.“
