I think every Vietnamese dads and uncles out there would love this place for a night hang out here. Their specialty dishes are really good (clam with toasted rice paper, grilled fish, etc.) but others weren't really. For banh canh (vietnamese udon with seafood), they used a slurry egg drop soup, which I have never seen any restaurant doing before. The bun rieu cua (vermicelli with crab paste) was bland. After driving to two different restaurants on this street that ended up being closed in a FRIDAY, we were happy to stop in here. Really nice guy who was happy to serve us. I had the Hu tieu and my husband had the wonton soup. For $10/bowl, it hit the spot. It's a large spot that probably caters to weddings and parties but because the guy was so nice and the soup was decent, five stars. Now, it's not the best soup but not the worst.

We only stopped in to have an appetizer And man I wish we would have stayed and tried almost everything we could on the menu.. We had the fried pot stickers which were delicious and the sauce was like a sweet chili sauce. This place looks like it's family owned and they were extremely nice to us when we came in And they had reasonable price points . The next time I'm in Richardson I'm making sure that I stop by to try more of their items
