My wife wanted catfish for dinner and I don't love the other catfish options in town so we decided to try Bob's. This place is definitely nothing fancy, in fact, it looks its age and it's pretty old. This place is also nothing but smiles and friendly service. You pay your check at a desk in the middle of the room and the cook (I'm assuming Bob himself), when time permits, will come out to see how you enjoyed your meal. A nice touch. Bob is still cooking in the midst of covid, and weather, serving great fish and food.I also really enjoy his coleslaw and homemade tartar sauce. We have been ordering for pick up but the restaurant dining room has been open. Always a friendly smile and food ready for pick up in less than 30 minutes.

We started our day of chores with an early lunch at Bob's. You have to know about this place because it's tucked away from the main activity although still easy enough to get to. Being one of the first patrons of the day, and with only one other party eating at the time, our orders came out quickly. The fried foods were crispy, fresh and clean tasting.
