My wife and I went for the second time recently. On our first visit, we weren't all that pleased. This time we went for dinner and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the shrimp and grits, and it was excellent. My wife had the pan sautéed catfish, which she enjoyed as did I when she gave me a bite. Food was just terrific! The service was very good. Enjoyed a happy hour here on a Tuesday evening. We had to go upstairs to the bar because the dining area was not open yet. For mobility challenged there is an elevator to help you avoid the stairs. The interior is charming. We ordered appetizers like the popcorn shrimp, crab cakes and the calamari. All were generous portions and tasty. Heard good things about this place, the atmosphere was nice and in a cute historical building. However it took us 3 hrs to get through dinner even with knowing exactly what we wanted ahead of time before the waitress came to the table each time. She forgot our drinks a couple times and our bread, it was delicious though. I don’t think it should be an extra charge but that’s another day.
