The restaurant wasn't busy when we arrived. The staff greeted us kindly. The chips and salsa were good. The charro beans were my favorite. My husband had the lunch portion of chicken fajitas. It was a lot of food! I had the enchiladas verdes with chicken. Both dishes tasted good. My husband loved the refried beans. I wish the rice had a bit more flavor. I would recommend eating here.
Why did I not try this place sooner?Stopped by in a whim to try it out. Menu looked good, saw several choices I wanted to try. Looked up and saw the street tacos board and instantly made my decision. Barbacoa street tacos!!! Choice of 3 with rice and beans or 5 on the plate. Excellent food and service as usual. I'm glad this hometown favorite is still as good as it was 16 years ago when my family and I used to live here. They have accommodated their menu to the changing times and that is the absolute most important thing any small business can do , in my opinion.
