“It was the first time we visited this location, the food was amazing but the customer service could use some work. It’s not bad, but it’s not up too Chick-fil-la standard & yes I know this isn’t a fast food restaurant but they set the standard for restaurants “
“Someone told me that this place had good food! They were wrong Taco Chon has amazingly delicious food! All the meats were full of flavor and cooked to perfection! Customer service was fast and friendly. Dining area is super clean and spotless! The bar on left of the dining area serves real margaritas!“
“Got lunch in a pinch for work, saw a high rated taco place and took a chance. Now I know why they're rated highly. Tacos, sauces, heck even their beans and rice are a cut above. Hot, fresh, and reasonably priced. Nice lady at the counter made sure I had everything I needed. The gas station they're in is new and clean too. If you're anywhere near this place, stop and have their Asada or Pollo street-style tacos.Parking: Standard gas station, about 12 spotsWheelchair accessibility: Relatively flat parking lot with ramped sidewalks“
“This little taco spot inside the Shell gas station is serving some of the best street tacos and combo plates. They apparently have some amazing breakfast tacos and they go fast in the morning. Be sure to check them out on your next breakfast run.Lupito’s Taqueria has two locations. Their Haltom location has a drive-thru.“
“HANDS DOWN, the best The AL pastor tacos I have had. You can tell they have mastered the technique and they don’t waiver from the traditional ways of cooking! Thank you so much - I will definitely be back, more than I can even admit online “
“They have great authentic food here and have new management in the last few years that made the food better than the 2-5 year old comment's. Beware asking for hotter sauce if your not used to it. I am glad to find a good restaurant closer to home with lots of parking unlike the stockyards. Give them a try you won't be disappointed. The burritos will make a meal in themselves and I believe it's # 24 with the 2 cheese enchiladas, rice ,beans, and beef in chilli sauce is good, will also provide 2 meals!!“
“Great little spot hidden in the gas station. Tasty barbacoa and asada. Lots of people getting take out while we are there. Something different they have is their brisket which was great in a taco. I'll have to come back and try the menudo.“
“$10+ for a michelada was a bit of a shock. The beer is $4 separately, so you’re paying $6 for 6 ounces of tomato juice. Birria tacos were delicious, not quite the flavor I’m used to though. They most often have a cinnamon profile and these don’t. Service was great and its a cute little place, but my bill added up very quickly.“
“We love Sol Dias and always make that a stop with the grandkids! The kids favorites are the mangonada, ice cream and the paletas. My favorite is the bionico and fruit cups. They are SO good! The employees are super friendly, The food/fruit is always fresh, the store is always very clean and its affordable!! They get five stars from our family!!“
“I'm a pescatarian. I enjoy vegetarian style meals and the fish meals. When I order either styles it has the following: lettuce, onions cooked on the grill, raw onions, pineapple chunks, fresh tomatoes. Grated cheese, homemade salsas, sour cream, grilled peppers avocado slices and everything is always cooked grilled fresh to order. The food is seasoned and very flavorful. The service is fast. The Ambiance is noisy because it's inside of a gas station- store with a small restaurant in the back. If you want hot, fast, fresh and good tasting this is it. It's a no frills place to look at but the food is delicious.“
“The prices, the flavor, to the wonderful costumer service I received while here at this location looking for a sweet treat to satisfy my sweet tooth. I walked in and received a very welcoming “ hello sir, how may I help you” with that alone I was like ok this has to be great but not only that I was recommended a snow cone called mongonadas with some tajin or Chile, so I ordered one of each and was not disappointed the slightest. I asked what brand of syrup they used for the snow cone and it’s there own recipe like what absolutely 10/10“
“I ordered the enchiladas, tostada, rice and beans plate. And a Sweet Tea. Finished it all. Was plenty full when I left. I am not sure if I would recommend this specific location though. The employees were no where to be found when it was time to pay.“
“Great place great food I'm glad I found this place we came in a Sunday there was a dj with music the food was great amazing flavor I got a dish for 2 and three people ate from it we got so full the shrimp cóctel is served in a small cup as well as the michelada I wish those came in a bigger size for the price I paid but other than that the other food we ordered was great.“
“It's pretty small in there and their menu is overwhelming because they have so much to offer (Mexican, Honduran and I think Salvadorian food). It's a lot but regardless the food is amazing every time.Parking: Hardly any spaces 98% of the time because there's only like 8 spots available.Wheelchair accessibility: I don't recall seeing wheelchair access.“
“Still early and the craving hit...I needed tacos, so I looked for a new place to try and this came up, so decided "why not?". They are in a gas station, which isn't that uncommon, and of course first thing I asked was if they accepted debit cards... THEY DO!!! kinda weird to me how it's 2022 and must people don't carry cash anymore, but a lot of taquerias don't accept plastic, so off to a good start. There was a slight language barrier, but no prob (tbh if there wasn't, I'd question quality of their food). I ordered 4 tacos (barbacoa, beef fajita, carnitas, and trompo). Was told 5-6 minutes, but pretty sure we ready within 3. She even offered an extra hot sauce and told me the red is spicier... Great, ah extra red it is. I opened up the container and the trompo looked odd (like a small sheet of meat), and not particularly appetizing, so tried that first with the green hot sauce to try it and out of the 4, it was the best taco and very flavorful The other tacos were really good too.. Carnitas wasn't as tender as I like, but full of flavor. My least favorite was the beef fajita one, but it wasn't bad either. Out of the literal hundreds of taquerias I've been to between DFW and Houston, this is easily in my top 10-20 (street tacos are an addiction, don't wanna hear it lol) and would come back here no problem“
“TL;DR: Not a restaurant style place (when we went, order at the bar). But food & drinks were delicious. Will be back for the live music & dance. We just walked up to the bar to order food & drink. The Quesabirria tacos were pretty good, and the consume was one of the best I had. Interesting drink selection, the margaritas are nice, refreshing, and quality ingredients. They had Spanish music YouTube videos playing on a huge projector and it was really nice. Good sound system. They have a little dance area. Apparently on Friday nights they usually have a live DJ and on Saturday nights they usually have a live band. Will definitely be coming back for the dance experience.“
