I decided on whether I should write this post or not but I would've be a Yelper if I wasn't. I ordered a philly cheesesteak with Provolone. Now, my sandwich was a bit on the greasy side which is why I understand they wrapped in at of paper then taped it. I bought a full one so some for now and some for label. I love Pappa Geno's in the Heights, so it pains me to give this location a poor review, but it just wasn't very good. Aesthetically, it looks the same inside as the other location, but was completely empty when we arrived at noon on a Saturday. They evidently raised all their prices recently (who hasn't after covid and all this inflation), which makes it pretty pricy now for a casual lunch. This place used to be very good and to me it still is solid enough. Unfortunately it's gotten slightly worse compared to previous visits and there nobody working it appears lol. The WiFi was down so I had to zelle them the money ( doesn't matter much to me because price doesn't change but still). As far as taste goes, I mean it's pretty good but still not what it used to be. Probably will have to mark it off of my list of places I go to.
