“This is my late-night or evening-to-go spot for sushi and hibachi food. When i dont have anything in my mind of what to eat, i simply go to this place. And I am sure there is no other food truck serving hibachi around this area. The price and food quality balance very well. I often eat here and like almost everything.Must try place.“
“**Japan House: A Culinary Gem Near DFW**Located conveniently near DFW along the bustling 635 highway, Japan House is a haven for those seeking an authentic Japanese dining experience. The moment you step inside, you're transported to a world of culinary delight, where traditional aesthetics meet modern elegance. My recent visit was highlighted by the All-You-Can-Eat (AYCE) option, a showcase of the restaurant's commitment to quality and variety. The array of dishes was a testament to the skill of the chefs, each dish crafted with precision and care. The sushi rolls were particularly memorable, with their fresh ingredients and expertly balanced flavors. The service at Japan House was exemplary, with my server Ian standing out for his knowledge and patience. His recommendations guided me through the menu, ensuring that my meal was not just delicious but also a truly enjoyable experience. In summary, Japan House is a must-visit destination for anyone near the DFW area looking to indulge in the authentic flavors of Japan. The combination of exquisite food and impeccable service makes it a standout choice for a memorable dining experience.“
“Best sushi place in all of DFW I love it I go specifically for the lobster roll and the avocado egg rolls. It's delicious!Vegetarian options: My wife is vegan and they have great veggies rolls and all sorts of veggie alternativesKid-friendliness: Me and my kids go eat here all the time. We love this place my kids are 4 and 8 but we've been going there for 6 years since my oldest was 2 so it's great for kids“
“The food was very good. I had the chasu ramen and my daughter had a poke bowl. Of the two, I think the ramen was the better choice but she enjoyed her meal as well.We were there shortly before 8:00 PM on a Wednesday evening and their hours say they are open until 9:00 but I got a very "we're closing up for the night" vibe from the start. We left shortly before 9:00 and they weren't locking the door behind us but probably only because someone else had showed up and was placing a to-go order.I will go back if I get the chance but only if I can arrive earlier in the evening.“
“The combo B lunch plate is so yummy. The sushi is so fresh it melts in your mouth. The owners prepare the food with care. You cannot get better sushi anywhere for this very reasonable price point. You can comfortably dine alone or bring some friends. The owners are always there and working to maximize your experience.Parking: Large flat shared parking lot with more than 100 spaces. Literally 100 feet from the front door.“
“Amazing sushi. Sizeable chunks of fresh fish. You might skip the soy sauce and wasabi because the sushi is so flavorful. It's hard to find a spot but the lady who runs things is very attentive. The Korean side bowls are a unique touch.“
“First time guest at Yasashi Sushi Ramen Grill and it was better than I hoped for. My son and I love to try new Ramen shops and we have been to several in the DFW metroplex. This is has to be the best tonkotsu (pork ramen) we have had by far. The broth was flavorful and well balanced. The noodles had the perfect slurpablilty. Was a bit disappointed with the hard boiled egg (prefer the soft boiled), however this does not take way any points. The pork was tender and easy to pull apart. It had great individual flavor that stood out from the rest of the dish (had ramen where the pork was lost). You can tell that the chef preps the pork separately and with care. The entire dish was delicious and I found it very easy to finish. Service was great too, even though we came in a bit late. We will be back to try other dishes or just to get the tonkotsu bowl again.“
“I love this place and I will keep coming back! I always love to get the special with ramen and sushi! I forgot to take pictures of the sushi but it is always so fresh and delicious! They also have broccoli that you can get as an appetizer and it is so yummy and crunchy. My whole group loved it.This place is pretty small and seating is limited. Prices are pretty good and everything we’ve had there has been yummy!“
“Food is great.Desiree was cool at first until she forgot to charge me for a drink. I asked for my cup from one of the cooks while she was busy and while I was getting my drink she said I hadn’t asked for a drink.Every time I come here I ask for a drink. And making it seem like it was my fault when it was clearly an elderly hearing issue really pisses me off. I asked for a drink, you didn’t charge me for it and you wanted to argue with me about whose fault it is. Rule #1 never argue with the customer and escalate the situation. That’s a Carl’s Jr policy and I’m surprised a nicer place could’ve abide by that policy. I’m never tipping again.“
“I am sad to see this place closing soon on 12/15/23. This is def one of my fave restaurants on the island. Love their pasta here! My absolute faves are their spicy ground pork with eggplant pasta and bacon and mushroom pasta with tomato sauce. This place is very nostalgic to me because I have been a fan and loyal customer since they was on Kapiolani Blvd. I will miss this place! I am glad to hear that they will still sell their salad dressings in the grocery stores though!“
“Went to Bluefish on a Sunday around noon and couldn’t have asked for a better experience (note** it wasn’t busy). The server was very patient with my table and provided excellent service. I had the roll with the popcorn shrimp (can’t think of the name at this moment), but it was good. I would definitely go back in the future and try other rolls“
“Great little hibachi joint! It is affordable, delicious, and very filling! Portions are generous, and the food quality is amazing; it is fresh and well-seasoned. Coming here is much cheaper than going to Benihana, for instance. I usually pay around $30 for two people (sometimes even including appetizers).Do come here. It is worth it.“
“ATMOSPHERE: when you show up to this restaurant the outside of the restaurant is simple and not what you would expect. When you walk inside it as though you walked into a Japanese restaurant in the middle of a Japanese city. Very traditional and you have two seating options: 1. The bar where you can watch the cooks work the grill 2. The Floor. You walk up take your shoes off and they seat you at the table where you sit on the floor. It’s actually surprisingly comfy.FOOD: this place is a five star rating for food all around. If you’re not very adventurous and only want an American take on the food they do have options on the menu that will accommodate you. If you’re looking for more traditional Japanese options there are so many great options and all are amazing. They even have some more creative options that are still a nod to traditional Japanese but with a twist. I would definitely recommend asking the server for their recommendations if it’s your first time and just dive in.SERVICE: they are quick and attentive yet still manage to be kind and patient. They even remembered my wife and I after months later from our first visit.Over all I wouldn’t have anything negative to say about this place. They only do reservations for 3+ people so if you’re a couple get there early and wait in line. TOTALLY worth it.“
