Hands down!!! Food was amazing!! Seasoned to the T?? I got the fried pork chops with brown gravy & mashed potatoes. With some black eye peas, and jalapeño cornbread. My bf got grilled fish and something, but we’ll be back.
We recently celebrated my husband’s birthday at Po’ Melvin’s. It had been at least a decade since we had been there due to relocating. But we have always loved it! Melvin catered our Wedding Rehearsal dinner.Our most recent visit was amazing! The food and service were 2nd to none. HUGE shoutout to Cindy and Darrel (#2) for their incredible service! Catfish and shrimp platter is always amazing along with other food options on the menu but the only reason I give them 4 stars is because the gumbo is absolutely horrible! I hope they find another gumbo recipe and soon!! Service is always great.
