Beijing Ranch has truly become a standout authentic Chinese restaurant in the Katy area. The 40-minute drive from my house is undoubtedly worth it, as the flavors and dishes evoke a sense of nostalgia from my childhood in China. The cucumber peanut dish is reminiscent of the familiar tastes of my past, evoking cherished memories. The dumplings, crafted in a distinct northeastern style, boast textured skins, generous portions of meat, and a delightful addition of dry shrimp for freshness, resulting in an immensely flavorful and delicious experience. As someone celebrating Chinese New Year away from home, the meal brought back memories of festive celebrations in China. The sour soup with pork belly and clear noodles was spot-on, capturing the essence of traditional flavors. The impeccable service provided by Emily, the owner, added to the overall experience. Her attention to detail and extensive knowledge enhanced our dining experience. She anticipated our needs before we even expressed them, making the evening seamless and enjoyable.Despite feeling full, the delectable offerings compelled me to continue savoring the dishes throughout the night. This hidden gem in Katy, discovered through a friend's birthday celebration, has left me feeling blessed to have such an authentic northeastern restaurant in the area. I look forward to returning again and again. Highly recommended. ? Greatly appreciates ?

Friendly service and good portion sizes. They were unfortunately out of a few dishes that I wanted to try but the chicken fried rice we got was still quite good. We also got the string beans which were not bad but I felt the onion could have been cooked longer. The beans came with a side of rice which was nice!Food was not overly salty which I liked!Nice decor and decent restroom.

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Rice was extremely sticky and flavorless chicken was hard and sauce was all

The food is excellent. Try the appetizer called Golden Gate shrimp. It’s addicting! Nice staff, and always very courteous.

This food is just not it. Other Chinese restaurants have flavor and feel like the food was made with pure love. This food feels like I’m eating unloved food. Don’t get me wrong, the food is pretty okay(mainly ate it bcus I was hungry) but it’s just lacking in everything. Either the chef is from china and can’t cook or they hire non- chinese cooks.

I really like this place. Food is delicious. The hostess is very sweet and gracious. And the decor of the restaurant is beautiful.

This is a bit divey but very good. The service was great but it could have used some nice background music instead of depressing news on a TV.

This is the best Chinese food I have ever had along with amazing service. 5 times here and it just seems to get better. Relaxing and most comfortable.

I don’t recommend ordering from this place, chicken fried rice came with boiled chicken with no flavor, and the chicken and broccoli was just steamed food no flavor no sauce, the general chow chicken has only chicken and sauce that was it no vegetables. Just beware images of the food items on web menu do not represent the food you will get. Save your money and eat somewhere else.

First time. Ordered online for pick up. Got home my husband and I took 2-3 bites and 50.00 dollars went immediately in the trash. My review is not a positive one. Do not try it. There was so much salt in the food it was inedible. So many wood ear mushrooms in all 3 dishes it all tasted like dirt. Noodles were not done and rice was bad, which how do you mess up rice? Will not return or recommend. I also believe they probably violate many health codes in their kitchen because I feel sick.

Terrible experience.I order online than I received the order wrongly.Don’t add the white rice, I ordered a regular fried rice , then they sending in small container. The menu is not clear. One of my order comes with lots of vegetables and few pieces of meet but on the menu don’t specify absolutely nothing.Don’t recommend at all.

Second time there. First time the food was kinda bland. Tried it again a year or so later and the food was still kinda bland. Something had spoiled in the soup and we sent it back. The server/manager was rude also. She would walk off right when someone was talking to her.I don't think we will give it a 3rd shot. The decor was nice at least.

The food is served in beautiful and traditional-inspired dishware, and then BBQ Duck in Noodle Soup that I ordered was delicious. I wish that the noodles were a bit longer because they were hard to scoop up with my chopsticks.
