Don't waste your money at this place I got the bowl of gumbo to go I payed over almost 12$ for what was probably a cup of salty watery gumbo with literally 3 sausage pieces and 3 small over cooked shrimps .

If I could give it a zero star I would. Don’t come here! Don’t waste your money. I wish I would of read the reviews before coming to this place instead of just looking at the pictures. I don’t think the pictures on here are from the same place. I asked the lady at the window how were the crawfish made meaning spice level. She told me that they do it New Orlean style and they don’t sprinkle any seasoning on the crawfish. I said ok that’s fine. She said if you want garlic butter I can make it and I charge $2 for it. So I order 5 pounds of crawfish one pound of shrimp and the garlic butter. Let’s start off by saying the crawfish were over cooked and NOT clean. The “garlic butter” was just the water they boiled the crawfish with . The crawfish was extremely salty. The shrimp were the only good thing about the order. We had to make our own garlic butter because what she made was NOT garlic butter.

NOLA Seafood Shack is definitely one of the best seafood spots! Mrs. B. and Mr. Tyrone are very personable and provide great customer service and delicious food. I have been a customer for years and I always receive fresh, appetizing food made with genuine "Louisiana Love"! They never miss with po'boys, gumbo, turkey necks, boudin, shrimp, fish, red beans, peach cobbler and other menu items! If you haven't tried NOLA Seafood Shack yet, you're missing out on good, authentic Louisiana flavored food!!!

The food was not good. We were looking to trying a new restaurant and we were disappointed. Our fries were soggy and we had 3 small lousy shrimp, the fish was just ok. The fried crawfish tails were a joke. They were small , hard and chewy.

Never again that's all I'm going to say we try to support our people. we can't be wasting our money when the food is not good the prices over there are not cheap so that's $26 dollar just for fish down the drain. I want be trying them againNew Orleans is my city. I no good food...

Woman at counter was very nice and tried to make sure we knew how big the crab was so we wouldn't be dissapponted. It was a little hard to hear her so we had to put our faces up to the window. Said it would be a 12- 13 min wait and it was, didn't take very long at all. Food was okay. I was excited to try the beignets as I've never had them before, but they were just clumps of dough covered in a ton of powdered sugar. The outside was fried a tiny bit but the rest was just dough. Disappointed. Tartar sauce tasted weird to me and kinda sweet. Didn't want to eat it. I think because of the relish that was in it. Fried shrimp, fries, and hush puppies were standard. Not bad. Wish I could've left a better review, seemed like nice people.

Being a native from New Orleans, you can tell when you get the real thing. The shrimp, and the oysters are to die for! Excellent fries as well. Nice to have a place around the corner that reminds me of home :)

Trash, Trash, and I cannot stress this enough...TRASH! My guy hands me the food through the window and then turns around and shaking his head....what are you shaking your head for my guy? Because you know the crawfish smells absolutely foul and taste like you boiled it in just salt and pepper? Eat there if you want to guys. But you've been warned. Only reason why they get 2 stars is because the shrimp po-boy was DECENT. Don't let the nice pictures fool you. Definitely my first and last time stopping here.
