I am feeling really sad to see that Sushi Neato is still closed ?, as it is my favorite sushi restaurant in Katy. I was wondering if the pictures we had on the wall are still there and if there is any way to retrieve them? We had some special occasion pictures on the wall and would love to have them back.

Okay I LOVE their food. My only problem is they haven't updated their business hours on here or on the answering machine. Twice now I have made an online order for lunch only to find the place closed when I went to pick it up. If the owner updates all the hours and refunds my money for the missed lunches I'll be glad to update my star rating.

I arrived with my family at Sushi Neato and we couldn’t even tell if it was open because of the lighting. The food was great, everything tasted very fresh. Atmosphere was calming and inviting, and service was good. I wish the drinks didn’t come in cans but I didn’t mind it. Menu was kind of hard to read, and they didn’t offer many drinks. These little things personally didn’t bother me, but they might bother some people. Overall a very nice experience, would come back, 4.5/5 stars

I'm so so upset...that I didn't come to this restaurant sooner! Me and my husband have been dying to find a new sushi spot, we are always trying new sushi spots and this was our next stop. The parking lot is spacious, and the interior decorating is so so cozy. It seems like a small crew that runs the restaurant, but the food and service is spectacular. We came on a quiet, slower day, our waiter was attentive and gave us plenty of time to eat and relax. The portions are PERFECT- they didn't skimp out on the raw fish on the rolls, and they didn't put too much food that we'd have leftovers. Good quality fish, perfectly cooked rice, veggies were fresh, all of the food came out in a timely manner and tasted great. We are still so upset we didn't go to Neato's sooner, but it's our new favorite sushi restaurant!

Food was good, service was good but the owner seems not to understand what the menu says … dinner entries are supposed to come with rice, salad and miso soup … all we got was rice. When asked about it, we were told that it was one or the other.
The best sushi in town! If you looking for fresh sushi and delicious rolls, can’t go wrong here. I went here on weekday and weekend and quality is always consistent. My favs: spicy garlic edamame ( not spicy at all but good beer food); tuna sashimi ( ALWAYS BLUE FIN!) - super fresh and tender; baked rolls - cant never go wrong here. Price is right and Highly recommend!

They seemed overwhelmed and stressed. Do not have special items as claimed on the menu. No good sake is available either.We continuously requested no imitation crab on any of our rolls but were served several. They did take it back and offered compensation instantly. It's not about that. They then served several rolls as chef specials, which was okay but expected more.I completely understand it costs a lot of money to have high-end items on the menu. If you don't have them, then kindly take it off the menu. The owner came over several times and wanted to make things right. We truly appreciate her effort and her kindness of wanting to comp several items. Again, it's not what we wanted, and we made sure we paid for everything. Also, please do not serve your guests in yoga pants and a workout top.Anyways, a bit more attention to details and fresh items is needed. Our waiter was nice. It's not her fault that certain items are not available, nor has it been for a while, we were told.Hopefully, things will change a little, and we will come back.

Sushi is good! I enjoyed the Salmon Sashimi, Dragon Roll. We were here 2 months ago and they had no AC.We are here 2 months later, still no AC.Not sure how you can run a business without AC. We were all hot and miserable in there.Next time call and ask if they have any AC before you make your way here.

Foods taste good, place is clean.Everything is okay until I got home, I find out I dropped money ( 500) and I really sure it was at Sushi Neato. I called right away and the manager picks up phone( a guy) said owner is here, he transfer me to the owner to resolve the issue I request for camera check up. Then after a lady speakes on the phone. When I ask for the camera, she said dining room has no camera. However I know the owner is the guy. So I don’t know who I speaked on the phone. It was on AUG 4.

Tried this place based on all the good reviews I saw in the foodie group. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Roll and the Sun Devil Roll. Here's how I rate these items-Chicken Teriyaki Roll 0/5: The chicken was so tough and overcooked I couldn't eat it. It was the only filling so it made the roll inedible. Instead of bringing it back I tossed it in the trash, and made a note to never order it again.-Sun Devil Roll 5/5: This roll was amazing! It has crab, shrimp, salmon, cream cheese and it's topped w/ jalepenos and it's deep fried. I would absolutely get this again.All in all I give them a 3/5 since one of the two rolls was thrown away. I would return and give them another chance just based on how good the Sun Devil Roll was.
