We were 6 widows for lunch after church at 11:15. When we finished and left, it was 2:15! I kid you not!The food was good and all orders were correct. SLOW! Waiting again for checks. Waiting again for receipts.They still have the complimentary beans, but they're SWEET! Now hushpuppies have to be an order. With service this slow, good luck with that!
This was my first time to order from you, the food was good but my pork, which I was craving... Was burnt one side so I hadn't really fixed that craving. I'm not sure if I'll do that again, it was disappointing.

So it had been YEARS since I've been to the Back Porch and I remembered how fun it was way back then so I brought the kiddos. This did not disappoint! It was hands down the best patty melt I've had and I looooovvved the stuffed jalapeños. It was worth the drive to Kilgore!
